'Sister Wives' Janelle Brown Says 'I Will Do It All Over Again' Amid End Of Marriage

"Our relationship might have had an expiration date" is one of many heartbreaking declarations a tearful Janelle Brown recently made about the end of her polygamous marriage.

The "Sister Wives" star broke down while reflecting on her longtime bond with Kody Brown and how the duo's spiritual encounter might have been fated to end. Despite losing the beautiful connection she once had with the polygamist, the Plexus saleswoman confessed that she would do it all over again.

The latest episode of TLC's reality TV series about the polygamous family is an emotional rollercoaster full of tears and broken hearts. The network shared a teaser clip of the 12th episode for season 18, "The Elephant in the Room," a recollection of how Janelle became Kody's second wife.

The YouTube video began with the social media influencer's crestfallen expression during her confessional segment. Janelle appeared to have shed some tears while recounting the first time she laid eyes on Kody, a moment she owed to her longtime friend and fellow "Sister Wives" star, Meri Brown.

"I was friends with Meri's family long before she even met Kody. She wanted me to come meet her new boyfriend, so I was there, and he walked in the room, and it was like I remembered," the mother of six recalled before giving an in-depth description of her fateful meeting. In Janelle's words:

"It was like when you see somebody that you haven't seen for a long time. There was all that emotion of like 'Oh, there you are,' you know that feeling, and I had that feeling the minute I saw him walk in the room."

For those who did not understand how Janelle could have fallen in love at first sight with Kody, the scene changed to throwback pictures of the patriarch. In his younger days, the polygamist could easily sweep anyone off their feet with his charming looks, and he successfully stole four hearts — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown.

Continuing her love story, the media personality explained that Kody would playfully suggest she join his family, a narrative the patriarch supported. In a separate confessional, the polygamist confessed to "flirting" with Janelle, talking to her a lot, and smiling at her.

While Janelle's recollection invoked tears, Kody could not help but smile fondly while reflecting on his romance with the TV personality. The pair finally entered their spiritual marriage following the Estate agent's realization that she should be a member of the polygamous family.

Now, at the end of her marriage, the 54-year-old stressed that she had no regrets. Although she never signed up for a dissolution of her vows to Kody, Janelle understood the pair's love may have reached its limits. In a choked-up voice, the mother-of-six said:

"I know that I didn't make a mistake in marrying him. I would do it all over again. I didn't think these kinds of things had an expiration date, but it appears that our relationship might have had an expiration date."

A month before Janelle looked back on her romance with Kody, the TV personality tried to rekindle his love with the mother-of-six. In an October episode of "Sister Wives," the polygamist attempted to sort out the duo's differences on her birthday.

Kody went all out for the celebration, taking Janelle to an upscale Arizona restaurant. Despite the celebrant's pleasant demeanor during their dinner, the 54-year-old shared a different perspective in her confessional, saying:

"I just don’t think there’s much path forward for Kody and I. We just are different people now. He thinks differently. He’s very, very wrapped up with the children at Robyn’s house. Robyn and he think a lot alike. They want to live the same kind of life. And I’m really looking for a relationship where I’m equally considered."

The romantic night worsened when Kody tried to get a goodnight kiss, a desire Janelle was uninterested in fulfilling. In her confessional, the media personality noted that holding hands with her former beau "just didn’t feel right anymore."

Her disinterest did not escape the patriarch's notice, who fired back, “I don’t know why we can’t reconcile. So we had a bad fight, we’ve had worse. So we’re separated, we’ve had other separations." However, Janelle stood her ground against reconciling, saying:

"You know, there just isn’t anything there anymore. There just isn’t. Our relationship has been unraveling for years."
