Later on, a video showing Haskell allegedly disposing of the body parts surfaced. In the video, a man in a white shirt, who neighbors IDed as Haskell, could be seen waving down a blue moving truck to stop in front of his home.

Haskell could also be seen enlisting multiple men to remove bags from his home — bags some laborers say contained human parts and which police suspected at the time to be the remains of Haskell's missing wife and her parents.

Following the recent charges against Haskell, District Attorney Gascón spoke out, condemning the gruesome case.

He said, "These shocking and gruesome crimes have sent shockwaves through our community. We stand with the victims' loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time and will do everything in our power to ensure justice is served."

He continued, "Our Major Crimes Division will work tirelessly to bring about a prosecution that reflects the severity of this devastating crime."

If convicted as charged, Haskell will reportedly face a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole.

LADA's Major Crimes Division is prosecuting the case and is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division.
