Meghan Markle has ignited speculation about a potential rebranding effort following her recent appearance at an event.
The former actress was spotted spending time with fashion guru Jamie Mizrahi when she attended the pre-show dinner of a Katy Perry gig in Las Vegas.
It comes after recent claims that she was "desperate for a solution" after an episode of "Family Guy" roasted her and her husband, Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle & Jamie Mizrahi 'Were Deep In Conversation'
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan might be planning to click the reset button on her "damaged brand" after she was spotted "deep in conversation" with Mizrahi at a pre-show dinner event for Perry.
It is believed that the "Suits" star feels that the myriad of controversies that embroiled her and her family in recent months have done quite a number on her brand. Reportedly, she is now hoping that the fashion guru, who has previously collaborated with Perry, Ariana Grande, and Britney Spears, possesses the magic touch to revitalize her image.
"They were deep in conversation," a source told the Mirror about Meghan's interaction with Mizrahi. "It looked like Meghan is going for a restyle and Jamie is the go-to stylist for every Hollywood A-lister, including Katy Perry and Britney Spears."
The insider added that Meghan "thinks a new look will be good for business," taking away attention from all the controversies that have happened in the past.
Meghan & Harry 'Humiliated' By 'Family Guy' Episode
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, were recently made the butt of the joke in a recent "Family Guy" episode.
The episode in question satirized their $100 million Netflix deal, seemingly depicting that they weren't worth the substantial income they received from Netflix.
Per reports, Meghan, in particular, was deeply offended by the roast, which she considered an "attack from insider Hollywood." At the time, it was also claimed that she was "desperate for a solution" and might have been spurred to meet with Mizrahi as a result of the incident.
"Meghan said she won't be humiliated like this and is desperate for a solution. They're in full panic mode," an insider said at the time, per the New York Post.
The source added, "What's hit them hardest and cuts the deepest of all is that it plays up the whole notion they're self-entitled grifters or spoilt brats.
The Duo Were Slammed After Their Failed Spotify Deal
The notion that Meghan and Harry were "self-entitled grifters" seemed to swirl online after the termination of their deal with the music streaming platform Spotify earlier in the year.
One voice instrumental in the bashing of the couple was Spotify showrunner Bill Simmons.
He took to his eponymous podcast back in June to express frustration over Meghan and Harry's "Archetypes" podcast, which won't get a second season as a result of the decision.
One of the opinions he raised at the time was that Meghan and Harry earned a massive chunk of their $20 million deal with Spotify while only delivering 12 podcast episodes.
"I wish I had been involved in the 'Megan and Harry leave Spotify' negotiation," Simmons said, per New York Post. ".. That's a podcast we should've launched with them. I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of this Zoom I had with Harry to try to help him with a podcast idea. It's one of my best stories."
Meghan & Harry Might Be Considering Different Career Paths
If Meghan does go ahead with a personal rebrand, it may confirm recent rumors that she and her husband have been contemplating alternative career paths.
Sources recently claimed that Harry is only interested in running his charity works and being available for his family.
"There's very much a feeling that Harry wants to concentrate on charity work and his family, while Meghan is much more concentrated on moving her brand forward," an insider told Woman Magazine, per The Mirror.
Harry's charity work has seen him work with the likes of Well Child and Rhino Conservation Botswana. Meanwhile, Meghan was said to have been working on launching a "major new commercial venture" soon, per the Telegraph.
The project was also linked to her proposed return to Instagram after sources claimed that an account titled @Meghan belonged to her. The account, which has a picture of Meghan's favorite flower, pink peonies, has since grown to 127k followers despite having no posts.
