Search For Audrina Patridge's Niece's Drug Supplier Is On 9 Months After Reported OD

Authorities have ruled the death of Sadie, the niece of television personality and model Audrina Patridge, a drug overdose.

New reports claim that the teen, whose passing occurred shortly after her birthday celebration, was allegedly able to obtain some medication usually used for severe pain via social media.

Audrina's world came crashing down after the death of her 15-year-old niece in February. In case you missed it, the "Into the Blue 2: The Reef" actress had mentioned the teen's heartbreaking death in a social media post that read:

"My beautiful niece is now in heaven. I know Its not goodbye forever, but it is the hardest to say goodbye for now. We will miss you and cherish every single moment we had with you. Rest in peace Say Say!! We love you forever & ever!"

Similarly, on Valentine's Day, Sadie's mom, Casey Loza, announced her daughter's passing in a gut-wrenching Instagram post. Casey, who is Audrina's sister, shared a recent up-close photo of her daughter and continued the tribute in the caption, penning:

"Sadie Raine Loza has left this Earth for the heavens. Writing this was the hardest thing I ever have had to do, not knowing the right words I'II leave you with this, Sadie liked to remind me that the first law of thermodynamics works in all spheres of life...."Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another". Transformation is a better word than death. Her story will save countless lives, her memory will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace you brilliant starseed. You're with your creator. We will miss you dearly. I love you."

Now, nearly a year later, TMZ has received information from law enforcement insiders confirming Sadie's death as a narcotic overdose. Despite the confirmation, it's worth mentioning that the teen's manner of death is still under investigation due to potential criminal charges. 

Additionally, cops are working to uncover how Sadie acquired the drugs, with one source familiar with the case alleging that she obtained them through Snapchat. According to them, the late teenager purchased laced Percocet through Snapchat, which contained fentanyl. 

If this is true, authorities will investigate the seller and potentially press charges regarding the sale to the 15-year-old. While that's unfolding, Sadie's family has since initiated a GoFundMe in her honor, aiming to support the Sadie Raine Foundation, dedicated to assisting teens and their families.

More than three years before tragedy struck, Audrina faced a legal challenge when her ex-husband, Corey Bohan, requested child support from the reality star following his job loss due to the COVID-19 outbreak. 

Corey, in legal documents for their Orange County divorce case that were obtained by The Blast, pushed for the "Dancing With the Stars" contestant to begin child support payments for their daughter, Kirra. He alleged that his ex-wife significantly out-earned him, while he was unemployed due to the pandemic. In his words:

"I do not receive spousal support or child support from Petitioner although she earns a significantly higher income than me. It is in the best interest of Kirra for the Court to establish a child support order as Petitioner earns a significantly higher income than Respondent."

Citing a California law stating that judges must consider the child's lifestyle in each parent's home when determining the child support amount, Corey continued in the filing:

"Kirra should have the right to live the same standard of living in each home. Petitioner has not been paying child support even though her income has gone up to over $36,000 per month and I am currently furloughed from my employment and have yet to receive unemployment. I need child support and a contribution toward my attorney's fees and costs."

Corey and his former wife eventually reached a settlement in October 2021. Audrina initiated the divorce from the 41-year-old in September 2017, less than a year into their marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
