Lindsey Vonn In Bikini Shows Off 'Giant' Jellyfish Sting

Lindsey Vonn is proof that not all celebrity bikini posts are glam ones. The Olympic skier made headlines earlier this year for being the victim of a jellyfish sting, and she even told her Instagram followers that the injury was "giant."

Posting for her army of fans, Lindsey showed off her super-fit figure in a skimpy red bikini, offering up her muscle machine of a body right on the water and also showing that not all ocean outings end well. Lindsey had planned for a "wake surf board" trip to be a day of fun. Looks like the ex to Tiger Woods wound up needing to lie down for a while!

Sharing before and after photos, Lindsey opened her gallery smiling confidently as she posed from an ocean deck and with a Red Bull surfboard.

Showing off her jaw-dropping figure, the former athlete sizzled in a tiny bikini with low-rise bottoms, also going for a plunging neckline and fun double strap details. Flaunting her toned legs and rock-hard abs, the blonde added in a Red Bull baseball cap as she smiled while looking to the side.

Next up came a shot of Vonn's impressive surfing skills. Handling the crashing waves like a pro, Lindsey proved that alpine skiing isn't her only skillset as she showed off her aquatic workout. That said, it all got a bit ugly afterwards! Fans also saw Lindsey showing the back of her thigh after the jellyfish stung her. Lindsey's leg was visibly red and swollen, with fans also getting a scar-like shot forming a close-up to close the gallery.

"What started off as a great day ended in a giant jellyfish sting/bite… I literally rode over it as I was getting up on the wake surf board," Lindsey told fans.

Continuing, Vonn said: "Thanks to everyone who gave advice on remedies. Think it’s gonna leave a mark for a while … at least I caught some waves before!"

The jellyfish sting came just months after Lindsey made headlines for undergoing knee surgery.

Addressing fans as she shared a photo from her hospital bed, Vonn wrote:

"I got another surgery because I’ve been dealing with all the damage from my ski racing career and have been trying to manage the pain as best I can. This surgery is hopefully a big step to help me long term. We still have work to do, and most likely another surgery, but I hope this will help me for a bit."
