Emily Osment, who made an appearance in one of the 'Friends' episodes, is speaking out about the passing of actor Matthew Perry.
The 'Hannah Montana' actress played a girl trick-or-treating in one of the episodes of the hit television series when she was extremely young.
Emily Osment Shares Tribute To The Late Matthew Perry
Emily Osment, best known for her roles in 'Hannah Montana' and 'Young & Hungry', actually starred in an episode of 'Friends' when she was just nine years old. Funny enough, she never met Perry even though she starred on the same show for an episode, but despite never coming face-to-face, he still had such an impact on her.
Following Matthew Perry's death, who portrayed Chandler Bing on 'Friends', Osment is speaking out about how much he meant to her, and to the world.
"In honor of the late Matthew Perry, a beacon of hope for so many in dark times, I give you my “'trikes over' look from 'Friends' 2001," she began referring to the end of the SAG strike. "Many years ago I was shooting a show called 'Young and Hungry' at Radford studios at the same time he was shooting 'The Odd Couple.' We shared the same dressing room at different times of the year, I would go back to work as he was starting his hiatus and walk into that room 20 feet tall knowing he had just been there."

The death of the 54-year-old has hit fans all around the world extremely hard as ‘Friends’ has been an outlet for so many, and Chandler Bing was the comic relief. In fact, Chandler Bing is some people’s all-time favorite character in television history.
"I never met him, but I loved him as we all did, and at one point or another we sat on the same ugly, brown couch. Maybe that’s enough, 🩷" Osment concluded in her tribute post.
Matthew Perry Passes Away At Age 54
Although Matthew Perry's cause of death is still under investigation, it is believed that Perry drowned as he was found unresponsive in his hot tub.
An autopsy and toxicology report are expected to answer more questions about his true cause of death, but police did do an initial investigation of Perry’s house, and all they found were prescription anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications — no illegal narcotics were discovered at the scene.
After Perry was found unresponsive at his home last weekend, many began speculating that the “Friends” actor relapsed or had some sort of illegal drug in his system. A close friend of Perry’s is saying otherwise.
“He was 100 percent sober when he passed,” Matthew Perry’s close friend, Athenna Crosby, said per our previous report.
“I mean, I can’t know what exactly he was thinking or feeling. I can only share my experience,” Crosby added. “And, of course, he was his own person that maybe he had said, done, or thought of things the day that he passed that I might never come to know.”
Matthew Perry's cause of death remains under investigation.
