Ben Called Becoming A Father ‘The Most Extraordinary Journey’

In July 2021, Ben took to Instagram to share a photo posing with his young son, who was named in his filing, and his older son, Ethan, who is now 23. “Becoming a dad has been the most extraordinary journey in my life,” he wrote at the time. “I had to extinguish what a father meant and learn what it meant to be a dad. “

“My children needed someone who actively took part in their lives. A dad who nurtured them. A dad who was present in mind, body, and soul,” he continued. “They needed attunement. They needed a connection. They needed someone emotionally available. None of which came naturally to me.”

“I spent so much time thinking about what it meant to be a dad. It means putting my oxygen mask on first while not being selfish. They show me it is never about them and always about me. There is never a day that goes by that I do not thank my lucky stars for what these boys brought to my life,” he concluded. “Thank you for being my ultimate teacher. I love you to the outer reaches of the universe and back.”

Harrison Ford’s Son Became A Celebrity Chef

Ben did not follow in his father’s footsteps to become an actor. Instead, he became a celebrity chef who is highly recognized for his work. On May 4, 2021, the son of the actor responsible for bringing Han Solo to life in the “Star Wars” universe celebrated Star Wars Day by making a giant cake of the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars Day is celebrated each year on May 4 as a play on the phrase “May the Force Be With You” when it becomes “May the Fourth Be With You.” He posted a photo on Instagram that shows celebrity chef Duff Goldman holding up the giant culinary creation.

“This picture was from the first time I met @duffgoldman,” Ben wrote in the caption. “One of the things I have come to appreciate about him is that he is an adult who still knows how to laugh and play. His version of the Falcon didn’t fly that day, but it sure tasted good. May the 4th be With You!”

Many fans celebrated the work of art. “I always wanted a Falcon cake for my birthday as a kid! My Nana tried one once. It was a basic sponge cake with orange icing and it was a little wonky - but at least she tried!” one fan commented, prompting Ben to respond, “Sounds like your Nana was pretty special!”
