Courteney Cox, 'Friends' Cast Attacked For Their Silence On Matthew Perry

Fans are attacking Courteney Cox, and the other 'Friends' actors, for remaining silent on Matthew Perry's death.
Although the cast of 'Friends' released a joint statement shortly after the 54-year-old actor was found unresponsive in his hot tub, none of them have posted to social media individually.
Courteney Cox's last Instagram post was two days before Matthew Perry passed away, but that is not stopping fans from flooding the comments section, calling the actress's silence "weird" and "confusing."
Courteney Cox Remains Silent On Matthew Perry's Death
Although the five 'Friends' actors and actresses -- Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc, released a joint statement following Perry's death, none of them have spoken out individually.
Now, fans are taking to Courteney Cox's most recent post, which, again, was posted prior to Perry's death, telling the actress that her silence is "confusing."
"I find [it] a bit weird how all the cast of 'Friends' have not posted anything about Matthew Perry 🤔😔," one of her followers wrote.
Another commented, "It's very strange that no one has said anything about Chandler, really why????"

A third wrote, "She never posted about Matthew death's ?? Why ?? This is so confusing 😦 even the others like Jennifer and Matt ??," as another follower chimed in with, "Interesting no actor and across no post about Matthew Perry why? 14 years you play with Matthew but no post yet."
"Courteney, do you even know that your friend on the show died? At least I would say words of support!," one fan said.
It is important to remember that the cast of 'Friends' acted together for years on the sitcom, 'Friends', and they were practically family. This is a devastating and unexpected loss, and the cast is trying to cope during this unprecedented time.
The entire cast did attend Matthew Perry's memorial last weekend.

'Friends' Cast Release Joint Statement
When Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer learned of Perry’s tragic passing, the five co-stars decided to release a joint statement.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” their statement read. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”
The cast continued by stating, “In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
None of the cast has yet to release a follow-up statement.
'Friends' Cast Is Struggling To Cope With Matthew Perry's Loss
Although none of the cast has posted about Perry individually, they did state they would speak more about his passing when the time is right in their joint statement.
Remember, the cast acted together for years on the sitcom, 'Friends', and they were practically family. This is a devastating and unexpected loss and the cast is trying to cope during this unprecedented time.
In fact, sources have stated that Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox specifically are struggling to deal with this unexpected loss.
