Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has just challenged former President Donald Trump's offer to go to Ukraine and stop the war in a single day.
In a new interview, Zelenskyy invited Trump to Ukraine, even though he does not believe that "he can end the war in 24 hours."
Volodymyr Zelenskyy Invites Donald Trump To Ukraine
The Ukrainian president is holding Trump to his word, inviting him to Ukraine despite stating he "can not end the war in 24 hours" like the former President of the United States is claiming he can do.
“Former President Trump said that about 24 hours, that he can manage it and finish the war,” Zelensky said during the interview. “For me, what can I say? So he’s very welcome as well.”
“President Biden was here, and I think he understood some details which you can understand only being here,” Zelenskyy stated. “So I invite President Trump. If he can come here, I will need 24 minutes -- yes, 24 minutes. Not more. Yes. Not more — 24 minutes to explain [to] President Trump that he can’t manage this war” in one day, Zelenskyy said.
“He can’t bring peace because of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin,” Zelenskyy added.

A few months ago, the former president said he could “solve” the war in Ukraine in just one day if he were reelected as President. Trump also added that the negotiation process would be “very easy.”
“I would say certain things to Putin. I would say certain things to Zelenskyy,” Trump said at the time, adding that he’d “make a fair deal for everybody.”
In the new interview, Zelenskyy added that peace can’t be negotiated with Russian President Vladimir Putin, even if Donald Trump were to try because "if he’s not trying and if he’s not ready to give our territory to this terrible man, to Putin, if you are not ready to give it, if you are not ready to give our independence, he can’t manage it.”
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Vice President Mike Pence, and current President Joe Biden have all visited Ukraine since the war began.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy Not Ready For Talks With Russia Amid War
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said today he was "not ready" for talks with Russia -- unless its troops withdraw from Ukraine.
According to many reports, the United States and European officials had spoken with Ukraine's government about negotiations to end the war. "The United States) know that I am not ready to speak with the terrorists, because their word is nothing," Zelenskyy said in an interview.
"For today, I don't have any relations with the Russians, and they know my position," he said, adding, "They have to go out from our territory, only after that, the world can switch on diplomacy."
Zelenskyy continued, "On the frontline, it is not a secret, we don't have air defense. That's why Russia controls the sky. If they control all the sky, until the moment when we get air defense, we can't move quickly forward."
