In a recent interview, the former President condemned Hamas and the October 7 terrorist attack on Israel, but he also condemned Israel's response.
Former President Barack Obama Breaks Silence On Israel War
Barack Obama was recently speaking at an event, where he spoke out about the ongoing war in Israel.
"If there's any chance of us being able to act constructively to do something, it will require an admission of complexity and maintaining, what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas, that what Hamas did was horrific, and there was no justification for it," he said.
"And what is also true is that the occupation and what's happening to Palestinians is unbearable [and] there is a history of the Jewish people that may be dismissed unless your grandparents, or your great-grandparents, or your uncle or aunt tell you stories about the madness of anti-Semitism," he added. "There are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did."
The former President concluded with, "If you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth and then have to admit nobody's hands are clean and that all of us are complicit to some degree."

This comes just moments after thousands of Pro-Palestine protestors took over the streets of Washington, D.C. on November 4. A video was shared, showing an insane number of pro-Palestine protesters as they “take over Washington DC, demonstrating against US Support for Israel.”
“Currently Happening Thousands of Pro-Palestine supporters have gathered today, taking over Washington, D.C., to march and protest against US support for Israel. Aerial shots show vast numbers of protesters packed together, occupying dozens of streets. Reports indicate that the crowd has grown, ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 people, marching to multiple places around the DC area,” eyewitnesses say.

Jenene from Indiana spoke to WTOP, insisting that Palestinian voices be heard. “We want our message to be loud and clear to (President Joe) Biden, ‘We’re not complicit in this war,'” she told the outlet.
The President of the United States recently visited Israel to meet with the Prime Minister. Following their meeting, Biden addressed the public, stating, “I’ve come to Israel with a single message. You are not alone,” before he discussed the ongoing events in Israel, including “children slaughtered, babies slaughtered, entire families massacred”.
“There is no rationalizing it. No excusing it, period,” Biden added.
President Joe Biden Has A Message For Lost Loved Ones
President Joe Biden delivered an emotional speech last month for those who have lost loved ones in the horrific events going on in Israel. “For those who have lost loved ones, this is what I know, they’ll never be truly gone,” Biden said in his speech.
“Israel must again be a safe place for the Jewish people,” the President added. “I promise you we will do everything in our power to make sure it will be.”
President Biden did not just discuss the Israeli people, but he also touched upon the Palestinian people as well, stating, “Palestinian people are suffering as well.”
Just after Biden made his speech on the Israel-Hamas war, he took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to make “himself clear”. “The vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas,” Biden wrote. “And Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people.”
