Actress Salma Hayek is breaking her silence on the hurricane that is currently devastating Mexico.

On Wednesday, November 1, the "House of Gucci" actress took to Instagram to share a video of the devastation and offer thoughts and prayers for those affected.

On Wednesday afternoon, the "From Dusk Till Dawn" actress took to Instagram to share aerial footage and photographs of the damage caused to the shores of Mexico by Hurricane Otis.

In the caption, Salma wrote, "Mexico will always be with me; I will always belong to it. It is my home country. On Wednesday, NBC News reported that Mexico plans to spend $3.4 billion dollars to rebuild Acapulco after Hurricane Otis.

Last week, Hurricane Otis slammed into the coast of Mexico, destroying buildings and homes, cutting off electricity, and severing communications, which left over 900,00 people unable to call for aid.

Although they have announced a $3.4 billion aid plan, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said the government would offer more if need be. “Fortunately, we have healthy public finances and unlimited resources when it comes to benefiting the people,” he said.

Over the weekend, "Friends" star Matthew Perry passed away suddenly at the age of 54. He was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi, but his official cause of death has still yet to be identified. On Monday, the Marvel's "Eternals" actress took to Instagram to share a few photos with her "Fools Rush In" costar, including an old Instagram Story where Perry once referred to their film as "my best movie."
