Britney Spears’ Childhood Home In Louisiana For Sale, Complete With Priceless Memorabilia

The childhood home of pop star Britney Spears is up for sale, and the buyer is getting way more than just a house.

The 2,299 square foot home in Louisiana was put on the market a little over a week after her tell-all memoir, “The Woman In Me,” was released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Although Britney Spears now resides at her Thousand Oaks estate in Los Angeles, California, the rest of her family has remained in Kentwood, Louisiana. However, Britney’s childhood home in Kentwood is now on the market. The 2,299 square foot home consists of 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. At this time, the seller is requesting 1,200,000.

The Blast spoke to Yvonne Hulsey of Keller Williams Realty Services, who told us that the house will be coming with several priceless pieces of Britney’s childhood, including personal drawings that she did as a child, her baby booties, a baby bath, and original photos and furniture of the house.

According to the Redfin listing, the home sits on 1.87 acres and even includes the original dance studio where Britney’s journey began. According to the listing:

Yvonne Hulsey told The Blast that there is even a pet cemetery on the property for the family dog that has long since passed away.

The Blast obtained photos of the property, including Britney’s name etched into the cement outside her home.

Britney's name is also written on a wooden door inside the property.

Someone, likely Britney herself, wrote, "Christina sucks. Brit rules" in what looks to be a black Sharpie pen.

Several of Britney's childhood drawings have also been preserved throughout the home.

Her name is written in yellow cursive above a child's drawing of a sun peaking out from the mountains.

Another look at the framed photograph shows a small house drawn in brown crayon with a row of red flowers lining the walkway beside the house.

It is unclear if she drew the picture before her time on "The Mickey Mouse Club."

Britney talked a bit about religion in her memoir. In another preserved photograph, Britney wrote, "Jesus Loves Me" on a drawing that has the bottom right corner ripped off.

The 3-bedroom home also boasts an old-fashioned stereo system to listen to all of Britney's hit songs throughout the years.

The property also boasts spacious grounds that feature a pet cemetery where a cross has been erected for the family dog.
