Travis Kelce's Family Reportedly Taking Public Speaking Seriously Amid Media Frenzy

Travis Kelce's family is beginning to feel the effects of the constant media attention, thanks to his romance with Taylor Swift.

New reports claim that the frenzy surrounding the couple has become incredibly overwhelming for his immediate family members. This includes his dad, Ed, his mom, Donna, and even his older brother — who doubles as fellow NFL player, Jason. 

The attention on the National Football League has more than doubled since rumors about the relationship between Taylor and Travis began in September when the singer attended several of the Kansas City Chief player's games.

Kelce had previously disclosed on "The Pat McAfee Show" podcast that he invited the "Bad Blood" singer to one of his games. He playfully mentioned that he "threw the ball in her court" after witnessing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour in July.

Their romance appeared to be confirmed earlier this month when they were spotted holding hands at a "Saturday Night Live" afterparty. Now, more than a month later, insiders have informed TMZ about how Travis' family is dealing with the extensive attention the couple is receiving.

According to the insider, even though the recognition wasn't the Kelces' favorite thing because it often spills over onto them, they're content that Travis is happy. Thus, they're handling the situation, with members of the extended Kelce family now being very cautious about what they say, particularly about Taylor, publicly.

It was also shared that the Kelces have been inundated with messages on their personal phones and social media ever since Travis and Taylor became an item. Interestingly, the NFL star's family is somewhat taken aback by the fervent devotion of the "Look What You Made Me Do" hitmaker's fans, known as "Swifties."

In fact, the insider stated that their intense passion has raised some concerns about Travis' safety, despite his status as a 6'5", 250 lb. American football superstar.

This isn't the first time that somebody from the camp of the 34-year-old will react to the situation surrounding him and his partner. Per The Blast, Jason had spoken candidly about it when he disclosed during an interview:

"It's certainly been weird, the level that it is now. On one hand, l'm happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he's excited about, that he is genuine about. But there's another end of it where it's like, 'Man, this is a lot.'"

The Philadelphia Eagles star added, "There's paparazzi talking about him fueling his car before the game today and I'm like, 'Is that really necessary information to share?' This is another level of stardom that typically football players don't deal with."

The opinion about how Travis' family felt about his relationship with Taylor had been different when The Blast highlighted the glowing review the singer got from his dad earlier this month.

At the time, Ed had described his first impression of the Grammy Awards winner, from their meeting on October 12 at Arrowhead Stadium, as a "very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman."

The patriarch appreciated the "All of the Girls You've Loved Before" artist's genuine nature and mentioned something "very special" that she did during their initial meeting. In his words:

"We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around."

Ed Kelce shared that even though attendees in the suite could empty their trash anywhere, Taylor chose to clean up, demonstrating her humility despite her status as a global superstar.

 "And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot," he divulged further.

The proud father of two successful NFL players also commended the "Anti-Hero" singer for her intelligence, stating, "I mean, very. That comes through right away."
