The Weeknd Almost Gave Selena Gomez His Kidney, Clearly Isn't Over Her

The Weeknd is channeling his inner Taylor Swift with a new song that is clearly all about Selena Gomez. Look what you made him do!

The singer dropped a new song, "Call Out My Name," on Thursday night and even the most amateur detective can figure out who he's singing about. After singing the line "falling for you was my mistake," Weeknd goes on to say:

I said I didn't feel nothing, baby, but I lied

I almost cut a piece of myself for your life

Guess I was just another pit stop

'Til you made up your mind

You just wasted my time

There's a lot to unpack there. First, we have the revelation that Weeknd was willing to donate his kidney to Gomez when she was sick last year. Eventually, as The Blast first reported, it was her friend, Francia Raisa, who stepped up and underwent the surgery.

Then the "pit stop" reference — clearly a knock on Gomez immediately getting back together with Justin Bieber as soon as Gomez and Weeknd split.

And Weeknd clearly isn't over Selena yet, signing during the chorus, "Girl, why can't you wait 'til I fall out of love?"

It'll get better, Weeknd ... we promise.
