'Friends' Star Maggie Wheeler Sends 'Janice' Tribute To Matthew Perry

Maggie Wheeler, the iconic actress who portrayed Janice on "Friends", has a sweet message to her "bing-a-ling," Matthew Perry.

Wheeler, who played Chandler's on-again, off-again love interest on the hit sitcom, is breaking her silence regarding the devastating news of Perry's passing.

Janice, one of the most iconic characters on "Friends", shared a beautiful photo of her and Perry to social media just hours after learning about his passing.

"What a loss. The world will miss you Mathew Perry," Wheeler wrote before adding, "The joy you brought to so many in your too-short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared. ♥️"

Another "Friends" co-star, Morgan Fairchild, who portrayed Chandler Bing’s mom on the sitcom, spoke out on social media as well, writing:

“I’m heartbroken about the untimely death of my “son”, Matthew Perry. The loss of such a brilliant young actor is a shock. I’m sending love & condolences to his friends & family, especially his dad, John Bennett Perry, who I worked with on Flamingo Road & Falcon Crest. #RIPMatthew.”

​​And Paget Brewster, who portrayed Kathy on “Friends”, released a heartfelt statement to her on-screen love interest, Chandler, played by Perry, after finding out about his passing.

“I’m so very sad to hear about Matthew Perry,” she wrote, adding, “He was lovely to me on ‘Friends’ and every time I saw him in the decades after.”

The “Friends” actress also asked fans to “please read his book” as “it was his legacy to help”. Brewster is referring to Perry’s 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing”, in which he opened up about his life and his struggle with alcohol and drugs.

The actress then pointed out that “[Perry] won’t rest in peace though.. He’s already too busy making everyone laugh up there.”
