Some fans haven’t even gotten to finish Britney Spears’ memoir “The Woman In Me” just yet and the Princess of Pop is already teasing a sequel!
The tell-all memoir, which was released on Tuesday, October 28, has reportedly become the best-selling celebrity memoir in history, with over 400,000 copies being sold in the first week of release. Considering how profitable the first book has been, it only makes sense that her fans - and her team - are clamoring for a sequel.

On Saturday afternoon, Britney took to Instagram to share a video of an orchestra playing. “Humor is the cure to everything !!! Play on !!! Volume 2 will be released next year … get ready !!!” she wrote in the caption.
Comments were disabled on the video, but she did get 20,000 views within an hour of her post from fans who are anxious to see a sequel.

Earlier this month, in a deleted Instagram video set to Icona Pop’s “Fall In Love,” the "Toxic" singer looked like she was having a great time riding a horse in Mexico.
“Riding ’n writing ✍🏻 !!! All I’m doing at the moment … volume 2 coming after 1 🙈🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!!” she wrote in the caption along with the hashtag #TheWomanInMe.
A second memoir has not been confirmed, but if Britney is already writing it, it is most likely going to be published!
What Could A Sequel To 'The Woman In Me' Be About?
Although Britney’s first book focused on her career, her friendships, her high-profile relationships, and her conservatorship, it seems likely that a second book would focus on her divorce from actor Sam Asghari.
The 29-year-old actor filed for divorce from the 41-year-old pop star on August 16, 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The “Special Ops: Lioness” actor filed for divorce after Britney had already given her final stamp of approval on the manuscript for “The Woman In Me” so there is nothing but praise for Sam within the page of the book.
In addition to praising him for giving her “courage” to speak up against the conservatorship, Britney recalled how she was “instantly smitten” with him the moment they met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. “I knew I wanted him in my life immediately,” she wrote. “The chemistry with us in the beginning was insane. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other.”
“I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn’t even drink,” she went on, even going as far as to call him a “gift from God.” The day after the memoir was released, the actor was asked how he felt about Britney’s book. “I’m freakin’ proud of her, and I hope she takes over the world,” he said, as per Page Six. When asked about the part where she called him a “gift from God,” Sam added, “That made me smile, to be honest.”
Britney's Unplanned Pregnancy Was The Biggest 'The Woman In Me' Bombshell
One of the biggest bombshells that came from Britney's tell-all book was the reveal that she and Justin Timberlake had navigated an unplanned pregnancy during their three-year relationship, which lasted from 1999 to 2002.
In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” Britney wrote, “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
Britney’s tell-all memoir, “The Woman In Me,” was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
