Britney Spears Bares Her Booty In Unclothed Beach Snap

Pop star Britney Spears is celebrating the success of her memoir "The Woman In Me" in the buff!

The now 41-year-old Princess of Pop revealed exactly why she likes to post naked photos of herself on Instagram in her tell-all book and she didn't wait long to follow it up with an actual photo!

Within an hour of her post, almost 500,000 people liked a photo that the pop star posted on Instagram, showing off her bare body. There is the shadow of someone standing behind her holding up the phone, but it is unclear who, exactly, snapped the shot.

The photo follows Britney’s confession that she gets “a lot of joy” from posting photos of her unclothed body on social media. In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” she shared by People magazine, the “Toxic” singer why posting some risqué shots makes her feel liberated.

“I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses,” she wrote in her memoir. “But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture, doing whatever I want with it.”

Although she usually uses strategically placed emojis to cover up her body, she did not do so in the photo that she shared on Thursday, October 26, only a few days after her memoir was released. It was also not the only post that she shared on Instagram.

The “Womanizer” singer was relatively quiet on social media over the past few days. However, she soon returned to Instagram to share a photo of her feeling herself up in a floral crop top and black shorts. She had her white pointed boots on again as she spun around in her living room with a lit Christmas tree in the background.

She did not leave a caption in either of her Instagram posts, choosing to let the video speak for itself. It's clear why the pop star would be celebrating, as her memoir is one of the best-selling celebrity books in history.

On Wednesday morning, the "Gimme More" singer took to social media to thank her fans for making her book the best-selling celebrity memoir in history. "It’s happening ✨?? !!! My book is the highest-selling celebrity memoir in history and it’s only day 1 !!! Thank you to the fans who have been so supportive !!! Love you all ? !!!" she wrote in the caption.

Later that day, sources told TMZ that Britney is making 25% of the profits from her book sales, and that's not including the $12.5 million advance that she got to write the book. More than 400,000 copies of her book have sold so far, but that's not all. With her 2002 movie "Crossroads" back in theaters for a two-day global fan event and her songs breaking news streaming records, it seems that Britney is set to make a major profit from her memoir release.

Britney namedropped quite a few people in her memoir, but last Friday, she insisted that she is not intending to "offend" anyone by speaking her truth.

“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then …that is in the past !!!” she began. “I don’t like the headlines I am reading …that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!”

“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she continued. “Either way, that is the last of it and s— happens !! This is actually a book didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”

“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she concluded. “I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe.”

Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman In Me" was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
