Cardi B's Topless Video Has Fans 'Embarrassed' For Her

Cardi B has been raising eyebrows as she strips down for a racy twerk while rocking only a thong. The hard-hitting rapper made headlines this week for taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, where she showcased her curvy backside and plenty more while bouncing around to music.

Flaunting her massive tattoos, Cardi told her 168 million followers she was getting "freaky," although comments to press-published coverage of the footage haven't been too positive. In fact, readers on The Daily Mail seemed both shocked and embarrassed for Cardi as they deemed her post distasteful.

Delivering her signature twerk moves, Cardi ditched her top as she wore only a nude thong.

Showing off her money maker, the 31-year-old was filmed back to the camera and near white drapes as she rocked bombshell blonde hair worn down while shaking her behind. Highlighting her fit and curvy frame, the "Press" rapper made it quite the twerk show, although there was a promo aspect. The "Freaky" caption was giving a nod to husband Offset's latest track.

Keep scrolling for the video. Cardi also flashed hints of cleavage as she stripped down to nearly nothing, although that's nothing new for the body-positive star now fronting mogul Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand.

Fans have been responding to the article. Over 300 users agreed with a fan saying that Cardi is a "terrible role model for her kids and the entire generation of youth."

"Stomach-churning and vile. Our society has sadly reached the lowest of low. I’m embarrassed," another said.  Seemingly also unimpressed was a fan saying: "That has to be the most cringeworthy and embarrassing thing I've ever seen in my life. How utterly sad and desperate for attention that she'd stoop so low."

Cardi might face criticism for stripping down to skimpy looks, but the Grammy winner is laughing all the way to the bank, and beyond her chart-topping music. Fall 2023 sees her raking in $$$ for SKIMS, also reportedly earning the company $4 million from her campaign.

“I’ve always loved the Skims Cotton Collection,” Cardi stated. “It’s so sexy and makes me feel snatched yet comfortable while hanging out at home. The new styles and colors I wore on set are even better, and I can’t wait to wear them all the time.”

"Everybody's wearing SKIMS," Cardi captioned her promo video on Instagram. Fans did, however, mock the whole thing a little. "The way she is low-key making fun of Kim has me crying," one user said. Cardi is also signed to major brands including Reebok and Fashion Nova.

As to the twerking video, not everyone was sending out hate. "She looks great. Offset definitely did well," one user replied. "Heyyyy she is proud of her dancing days and to each their own," another said. These comments, however, were among the least liked.
