Heather Locklear just pleaded not guilty in her battery on an officer case.
According to the Ventura County D.A., Locklear’s attorney appeared in a courtroom Thursday to plead not guilty on all charges on behalf of the actress. The court ordered a pretrial conference to be set for June.
Locklear was arrested in February after the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to her home in Thousand Oaks for a domestic violence incident with her boyfriend. At the time, cops said she was “extremely agitated, uncooperative and antagonistic” before they could even start the investigation.
Cops said Heather “battered her boyfriend and he suffered a visible injury” before their arrival. As they tried to take Locklear into custody, she kicked and hit three deputies as they were bringing her to the vehicle.
Locklear was eventually charged four counts of battery on an officer, and one count of resisting arrest. The sheriff says they had to bring her to the hospital because she claimed that she was injured earlier in the day, but she was given the all clear and sent home.
Heather entered treatment days after the incident.
