If anyone should feel over the moon about a delicious accomplishment this weekend, it is Russell Crowe.
The talented Hollywood star recently took to social media to share how happy he was to have a chocolate statue made in his likeness, which was displayed at a festival over the weekend.
Russell Crowe Gushes About Chocolate Look-Alike Statue
Who’s sweeter? The iconic “Robin Hood” actor or his chocolate twin? Well, fans will have to decide that when they get the chance.
In honor of his daring character from the movie “Gladiator,” a statue of Crowe was displayed for a competition in Malta. The event occurred at the Hamrun Chocolate Festival and was attended by many chocolate lovers.
Attracted by the beauty of his look-alike, Crowe could not keep his excitement to himself as he took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to gush about the chocolate statue.

“Some people get statues made of bronze—some in marble. In Malta, they have made me out of chocolate,” he wrote, joking that he would be available to eat it when the contest ended.
Crowe’s photo on X of the chocolate statue immediately went viral, and some fans joked that they could barely tell the difference between real-life and eatable Crowe. The tweet also garnered over 17k likes and 1.4 million views.
Who Designed The Russell Crowe Chocolate Statue?
After the “Thor: Love and Thunder" star gushed about his beautiful chocolate look-alike, fans wanted to know who made such a pleasing statue that left nothing to the imagination about the actor’s physique.
According to reports, Tiziano Cassar is the incredible artist who created the masterpiece chocolate. Since the photo went viral, he has received a lot of appreciation from people worldwide, especially Crowe’s supporters.
Moments before the incredible chocolate Gladiator was displayed, Cassar took to his Facebook page to applaud his team, saying, “Setting up for Mr. Crowe. Great team, thanks to all involved.” The quote accompanied a photo of a stage on an empty street.
During the festival, attendees could see the statue and applaud the artist’s handiwork on social media. Last year, a similar event displayed several life-sized chocolate statues. This year’s occasion was the 13th edition of the festival, and supporters are looking forward to future events.
Russell Crowe Trashed The His Gladiators’ Script Writers
A few months ago, Crowe had a sit-down with Vanity Fair, where he bared his thoughts about his character in "Gladiator" and the "rubbish" script he had to learn.
He told the outlet that while he was confident about his lead role, he did not feel that way about the “world surrounding me.” Adding that the script was nothing to write home about.
“It had all these strange sequences. One was about chariots and how famous gladiators used certain chariots and had endorsement deals with olive oil products. And that’s all true, but it’s just not going to ring right to a modern audience. They will say, ‘What the f--- is all this?’ The energy around what we were doing was fractured,” he said.
However, the two-time Golden Globe winner acknowledged that the finished material was amazing and it turned out to be an incredible movie. A report by The Blast in April revealed Crowe's thoughts about the upcoming "Gladiator" sequel.

In July, Germany’s Panoptikum Hamburg revealed a stunning look-alike wax figure of singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. The statue wore a black T-shirt, denim pants, red sneakers, and a makeshift guitar, the singer’s go-to instrument. Other A-listers with look-alike wax figures include Queen Elizabeth II, Angelina Jolie, etc.
Recently, Matthew McConaughey was shown his wax figure during an appearance on "The View." The American actor was presented his Madame Tussauds wax figure while on the show, and viewers were stunned at the uncanny resemblance.
The “Interstellar” actor decided to stand next to the wax figure and strike a similar pose for everyone on the show. “I don’t remember when, but I did wear this suit, and I remember those shoes,” McConaughey said about the wax statue.
