Pop star Britney Spears is opening up about more incidents with her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, in her upcoming memoir, "The Woman In Me."

The tell-all book mentions all members of the Spears family, including her father, Jamie Spears, her mother, Lynne Spears, and even her brother Bryan Spears. However, after the "Zoey 101" star released her own memoir, "Things I Should Have Said," in January 2022, it looks like Britney plans to refute some of Jamie Lynn's claims, especially when it concerns her controversial 13-year conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.

Over the weekend, a source told Us Weekly that Briney Spears talked about her 2019 mental health stay in her memoir "The Woman In Me." However, Jamie Lynn reportedly told her sister that Britney should "stop fighting it" because there was "nothing" she could do to improve the situation.

Britney ultimately spent thirty days at the treatment center, which prompted an outpouring of support for the singer at the time. In April 2019, Jamie Lynn took to Instagram to shut down rumors that she was not supporting her sister “I have been here long before anyone else, and I’ll be here long after. I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand," she wrote at the time, as per the outlet. "Do not come for me or the ones I love anymore."

Two years later, in June 2021, Britney gave an emotional statement at a court hearing about her controversial conservatorship, which she started fighting in 2018. “The main reason why I’m here is because I want to end the conservatorship without being evaluated,” she said at the time, as per the outlet. “I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years, and it’s enough.”

“I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you. I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them,” Britney added.

At the time, Jamie Lynn responded to rumors that she hadn't done enough to support her sister, writing on Instagram, “Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag. And I’ll support her long after. Note that.”

"I’m so proud of her for using her voice. I’m so proud of her for requesting new counsel like I told her to do many years ago," she continued. "If ending the conservatorship or flying to Mars or whatever else she wants to do [will make her happy] — I support that, 100 percent. Because I support my sister. I love my sister. Always have, always will. As long as she’s happy. Let’s keep praying. That’s all.”
