Kelly Clarkson is speaking out and slamming "trash reporters" for "twisting" her words regarding the NFL and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship.

The morning talk show host has faced backlash since she spoke out on the NFL's coverage of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, but she is blaming news outlets for "clickbait" headlines.

Many news outlets, including The Blast, reported on Clarkson's comments, however, some headlines may have "twisted" the singer's words as she faced backlash, accusing her of "bashing Taylor Swift's and Travis Kelce's romance."

Now, the "Breakaway" singer is speaking her truth.

"Just a quick public service announcement everybody since this seems to be breaking news..." she began. "Do not fall prey to clickbait, trash reporters twisting the facts again. I did not bash anyone's romance. I am pro romance. Yay romance."

"Did y'all even watch what I actually said on my show? I just said I want to watch football when I tune in to watch football. Seems [like] an appropriate request."

For the record, The Blast's headline on the coverage read "Kelly Clarkson Slams NFL For Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Coverage", which is, in fact, true and not twisting her words whatsoever. It seems some outlets accused Clarkson of bashing Swift and Kelce, which she did not.

Clarkson concluded with, "Okay, carry on, and GO COWBOYS!"

The “Since U Been Gone” singer compared the recent NFL coverage to Bravo. “It’s not hilarious how it is literally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now,” Clarkson said during her morning talk show earlier this week.

“It’s like you’re watching ‘Housewives’ while you’re watching,” she joked, before slamming the NFL commentators for “just talking about gossip things” during recent games.

“And you’re like, ‘So, what about the play?’” she said, adding that the couple is “taking over.”

The NFL recently defended its coverage of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce amid the backlash they have been receiving.

During “Sunday Night Football” a few weeks ago, NBC showed the “Bad Blood” singer a number of times, seemingly dismissing the fact that other big-name stars were in the same suite as her, including Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman. The channel also promoted Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” twice, and showed a commercial featuring Travis Kelce nearly five different times.

“We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally,” the NFL said in a statement to People. “The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”

The league then compared it to their “Toy Story”-themed coverage on Sunday morning. “The vast majority of our content has remained focused on the game, our players and variety of other initiatives, including our Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast, the international games and more,” they said at the time.
