Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife have come to an agreement on child support which will save the actor a lot of money.
Renner and Sonia Pacheco agreed to child arrangement in 2015 for their 5-year-old daughter, Ava. The agreement called for Renner to fork over $13,000/month in support, plus a lump sum payment every April of 5% of his income in excess of $2,290,000.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Renner's 2018 lump payment was scheduled to be $292,000. But with Renner now making around $11 million a year, those were figures were about to get really, really pricey.
But Renner and Pacheco came to a compromise. The docs state that Renner's yearly payment for 2018, 2019 and 2020 will not exceed $200,000, but any amount Renner would have owed in excess of the $200k will go into an account that Pacheco can use to cover her share of Ava's education expenses.
This year, for example, Renner will for over $200,000 to Pacheco, with $92,000 going into the account for Ava.
Pacheco is required to turn over financial statements quarterly related to the account.
