Kristin Cavallari Sparks Storm With Salad Video

Kristin Cavallari appears to have joined the list of celebrities getting slammed for remaining silent amid the Israel-Palestine crisis. The reality star updated her Instagram with a repost from her TikTok on October 10, sharing a sarcastic video making fun of set life. Footage showing Kristin lip-syncing about going "for lunch" and "doing something cool" like smoking a cigarette has now been met by backlash, with one fan kicking it all off. While model Kendall Jenner was Insta-slammed for her silence on the war this week, stars including Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner have faced criticism for their statements.

The hilarious TikTok showed Kristin in full L.A. girl mode. The blonde was seen clutching an iced beverage from high-end grocery store Erewhon Market as she let a makeup crew apply the finishing touches to her look.

Showing off her fit figure, Kristin rocked a white crop top as she sat in her glam chair. She was also seen striking an exaggerated glam pose while enjoying a takeout container of salad. A man with a German accent was heard saying: "For breakfast, we'll do something cool like have a cigarette and a bar of chocolate," then describing going for "a walk" before lunch. Kristin lip-synced the entire way through.

In a short caption, Kristin wrote: "Busy day."

While one fan said that "TikTok Kristin is my favorite," others didn't seem keen on dropping compliments.

"Nothing for Israel?" one user asked. "I know!! I just DM'd her that exact question," another replied. Things got messier, though. "Not everyone needs to hop on the latest ban wagon and post about it" was another response, although a further fan didn't seem to think "bandwagon" was appropriate for what's looking like a war.

"Comparing a massacre to the latest “banD wagon” quite simply highlights your ignorance," they replied.

A further user remarked that there are other crises going on, too. "There are plenty of humanitarian issues through out the world apparently, what about Ukraine, Kosovo, Armenia? They don’t comment demanding sharing posts," they said.

Kristin does not appear to have responded to the comments. The MTV alum has, however, been making headlines elsewhere. Kristin is now the host of two podcasts, with August 2023 seeing her launch her second Let's Be Honest one.

Alerting her 4 million+ IG fans to her new gig, Kristin wrote:

"Ahh I’m so excited to finally announce that I’m coming back to the podcast world— LETS BE HONEST. It’ll be a heavy focus on relationships & dating…"

The ex to Jay Cutler added: "I’m gonna have a lot of well-known men on to give us real dating advice and tell us what they’re really thinking, plus women who have interesting stories and who will inspire you, nutritionists, doctors, my facialist….whoever the heck I wanna talk to that week."
