Meghan Markle Wears Stunning $1.6K Dress On Romantic Island Getaway

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted hand-in-hand while enjoying a romantic island getaway together.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry walked along the beautiful cobblestone sidewalks, while holding hands, completely in love with one another. The two took a jet to the tiny island of Canouan in St Vincent and the Grenadines after the couple spent a week in New York promoting mental health projects.

A bystander captured photos of the couple on Friday, which showed The Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they left a gourmet food store inside the Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Marina in Glossy Bay.

Meghan Markle, 42, was seen strolling down the street wearing an ivory maxi dress and a white Panama hat with a black ribbon, and a pair of sandals. Prince Harry, 39, dressed in casual navy shorts and a white t-shirt, complete with a simple pair of flip-flops.

The dress that Markle is wearing looks to be the Chloe Patchwork Hand-Crocheted Maxi Dress, however, it is sold out online. It was listed at $1,660.00.

Meghan and Harry are clearly enjoying their time together as they were seen without children Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2. According to the eye-witness, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "affectionate" with each other and "looked very happy to be having a holiday together."

Right before the picture was snapped, Meghan and Harry went into Faye – a gourmet grocery store that offers an "exclusive selection of fresh seasonal organic products, from vegetables to cheeses, sweets, seafood and exclusive meat cuts’"imported from France.

The couple then went on a romantic stroll together, hand-in-hand, along the bougainvillea-festooned promenade.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have since returned to the United States following their romantic island getaway.

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle broke their silence, joining other members of the British royal family speaking out on the terrorism and unfolding crisis in Israel.

"At The Archewell Foundation, with Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, we stand against all acts of terrorism and brutality," the statement, which was posted to their foundation page, read. "We are supporting our partners and organizations on the frontlines in Israel to provide the urgent aid needed, and to help all innocent victims of this unconscionable level of human suffering."

Meghan and Harry's statement came just hours after King Charles released a statement of his own. "This is a situation His Majesty is extremely concerned about, and he has asked to be kept actively updated," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said. "His thoughts and prayers are with all of those suffering, particularly those who have lost loved ones, but also those actively involved as we speak."

The spokesperson added, "His Majesty is appalled by and condemns the barbaric acts of terrorism in Israel."
