"Wheel of Fortune" co-host Vanna White is about to get her first tattoo by her daughter, and she knows exactly what to get.
The 65-year-old, who does not yet have any tattoos, is ready to christen her body with the ink needle as she wants to get matching tattoos with her daughter, by her daughter!
Vanna White Wants Matching Tattoos With Her Daughter
The "Wheel of Fortune" co-host has revealed that she wants to get inked, despite her being 66 years old, and she wants to get it with her daughter.
White's youngest daughter, Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro, is a New York University graduate with an art degree and is using that degree in tattooing.
“I said, ‘Gigi, why tattooing?"," White told People before adding, "She goes, ‘Mom, my art is on someone's body for the rest of their lives.’ I was like, ‘That's pretty cool.’ You have to be so good and confident. You can't mess up. So she absolutely loves it. She's been doing that for the past three years and is doing a great job. I'm so, so proud of her".
The "Wheel of Fortune" star went on to admit she even wants to get inked by her daughter and get matching tattoos together. “You know what, I want to have matching hearts where she'll do a little heart on me and she'll do one on herself. I feel like I need to do that because it's her and it would be her on me,” she said.
Vanna White Is Cashing In On Her 'Wheel of Fortune' Salary
White signed a two-year contract extension a few weeks ago to continue as co-host of the ABC game show through the 2025-26 season, per our previous report. This new contract takes her two years into co-hosting alongside the new host of the show Ryan Seacrest, who will take over for long-time host Pat Sajak in fall 2024.
Although the specific details of the contract remain under wraps, we know Vanna White is getting a big payout after she previously spoke out about her salary demands. Several reports state that there is a “substantial pay increase” in the new deal, from the $3 million per year she was making for nearly two decades. Shockingly, she had not gotten a raise for 18 years.
Vanna White‘s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, was in on what is being described as a “very difficult negotiation” with Sony.
'Wheel of Fortune' Says Goodbye To Pat Sajak
Sajek and White have been hosting the show together for 39 years now, as millions of contestants have come on to the show to try and solve word puzzles. However, Pat Sajak will be stepping down after more than 40 years of hosting “Wheel of Fortune.”
“As previously announced, Wheel of Fortune’s Season 41, which kicked off this past week, will be the last for host Pat Sajak,” read a statement published at the time. “The show will celebrate the 41-derful seasons with him at the helm. Co-host Vanna White has extended her contract for an additional two years, keeping her revealing letters at the iconic puzzleboard through the 2025-2026 season.”
