Taylor Swift excels in almost every endeavor she undertakes. She's a prominent figure in the music industry, and her upcoming concert film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," is poised for box office success.

With accomplishments in both music and film, nobody will turn a blind eye if the 33-year-old decided to branch into politics. In fact, Swift already has people, including singer Grimes and a former Donald Trump employee, rooting for her to declare her presidential dreams.

Singer Grimes Hypes Taylor Swift For President

Grimes, real name Claire Elise Boucher, has confirmed that she will vote for Swift if the latter ever decides to run for the White House position. The Canadian musician, who shares two kids with Elon Musk, publicly aired the opinion while responding to a social media post that pointed out the pros of a Swift presidency.

"it's not just the fact that Taylor Swift as president would course correct society and fix carbon emissions in 10 years.  it's that I care about her mental health and she cares about mine (she doesn't know me but she'd care)," the original X read.

Although it came nearly 24 hours later, Grimes agreed that the "Love Story" hitmaker would be good for unity, typing, "In many ways Taylor Swift is the only presidential candidate who can unite the country.  Trump v Swift is totally occurring in a parallel universe rn."

"Perhaps she should run as the Republican candidate," one observer stated, prompting Grimes to reply with, "She'd be preferable as a Republican I think - actually unbeatable at that point."

Another observer noted, "Two weeks ago @tkelce was put on the map and now you already want him as First Gentleman," while a third declared, "oh grimes i always knew i could trust you mother."

The reaction wasn't all love and light though, as critics also chimed in on the conversation. One such person claimed, "Grimes and Elon have 100% approached Taylor at a bar and told her that they dig her vibe," and another requested, "Someone shut her up she's so bad at this, she's trying so hard but it doesn't hit I'm SICK." A third critic energetically rattled off:

"I'd be among the first to call Taylor to withdraw from the presidential race. I say that as someone who wants Elizabeth Warren to be president. Neither Trump nor Taylor qualify for the presidency. Electing either of them suggests there's something wrong with American democracy."

The mixed messages come on the heels of Alyssa Farah Griffin proposing that if Swift were to run for president, she might have a chance at the position, potentially outperforming one of the leading candidates in the race. Speaking during an episode of "The View: Behind the Table," she said:

"To be honest, if Donald Trump looks like he's gonna win, she's just gonna need to get in the race and defeat him once and for all, because she's probably the only person who can! This ends in one way; we are all Taylor Swift fans."

Per Forbes, the television host formerly held the role of communications director in the Trump administration and was a supporter of the then-president until he declined to concede following his loss in the 2020 election. Grimes Would Love To Pass Away In Space Unless Her Kids Need Her On Earth

In August, The Blast reported that Grimes expressed her one desire when it came to her death during a recent interview. While responding to the question if she planned to travel outside earth, the 35-year-old expressed:

"Definitely. I hope to die in space. I would like to go far enough out there to where my body could not handle coming back. So it would be closer to the end of my life. Maybe 65."

She mentioned that Mars, in particular, would be a "great" place to spend the final chapter of her life, as long as there's a "megastructure" by then. The "Welcome to the Opera" singer then emphasized her willingness to live as long as possible until the end.

Ultimately, Grimes also acknowledged the one factor that might change her plans, saying, "If there's a real responsibility, like, if my kids are having grandkids and really need me, I might change my mind, the outlet. But the preferred thing would be seeing some new worlds."
