Will Smith's Kids Reportedly 'Feel Bad' For The Actor Amid Jada Pinkett Smith Drama

The children of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith – Jaden Smith, 25, and Willow Smith, 22, reportedly "feel bad" about watching their father react to the family drama as it becomes exposed for the world to see.

Despite previous reports that the two Smith children were "relieved" to stop hiding the secret of their parent's separation from the world, a new report on Tuesday morning said that the children "feel bad" for the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star amid the release of the "Red Table Talk" host's new memoir, "Worthy."

Jada Pinkett Smith has been dropping a lot of bombshell revelations ahead of the release of her “Worthy” memoir. However, it looks like the two Smith children are not happy about her airing all of their dirty laundry, as an insider told Entertainment Tonight that Willow and Jaden “feel bad” for their dad.

“They know he has been going through a lot lately and this isn’t helping,” the source added. “They wish some of their family’s private matters remained private.” The insider claimed that the “Independence Day” actor has been “trying to stay busy” by “hanging out with his good friends and his kids” amid the constant media scrutiny over his marriage.

The source added, “He’s trying not to let any outside noise impact him. Will loves Jada and feels like he has always had her back and always will. He has been trying to be supportive, while also taking care of himself.”

Although Will and Jada have been married since December 1997, the “Girls Trip” alum told People magazine that the two are still “figuring it out” when it comes to their marriage. “We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,” she said. “We just got a deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”

In a follow-up interview on the “Today” show, Jada told host Hoda Kotb that the two might actually reconcile despite being separated for years.

“There’s no finding another great love, and I think that’s the point. It’s like we are in a place now that we are in a deep, healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us,” Jada said on Monday.

“There’s no divorce on paper. We really have been working hard. That’s the whole thing,” she continued. “We are working very hard at bringing our relationship together. Back to a life partnership.”

Over the weekend, a source told the Daily Mail that the two Smith children were looking to “heal” from what they have experienced over the past few years. They were reportedly “extremely agitated” keeping up lies about their parent’s relationship in the media.

“Although Jaden and Willow love their mom to no end and take on many of her behaviors and traits, they are very relieved the news is finally out there so everyone can just get on with it, no one is getting any younger,” a source claimed, adding that the two were “uncomfortable” answering questions about their parent’s relationship.

“They all want everyone to be true to themselves and not hold any more grudges or secrets,” the source continued. “Jaden and Willow hope that everyone can now heal and remove any drama that still might be in their worlds now that all the revelations have come out.”

“They have seen the attacks that their mom has gotten from all of this, and they really hope people can trust their mom in the future, they weren’t expecting negativity to shine on their mom but now that it is happening, they want to get through it all as a family,” the source added.

The source went on to say that Jada has pushed her children into a “very strange and uncomfortable situation,” noting that although Willow has always been close with her mother, she is frustrated with how much dirty laundry she is airing to the public.

“They were constantly asked about their parents and for seven years they had to basically lie to everyone and pretend that everything was perfectly fine when they knew it was not,” the insider said. “This made them extremely agitated at times and they would constantly get in fights with each other and with them.”

The source went on to claim that Willow has always taken her mother’s side when it came to arguments between the pair. “Willow holds so much animosity towards Will in particular. She will always take Jada’s side in things,” the source said. “She does not know why her mom had to go and tell the world all their dirty laundry. She feels like she is laughed at by all her peers.”
