Blake Shelton believes Miranda Lambert just did to singer Anderson East what she did to him years ago.
Sources close to Shelton tell The Blast that the “The Voice” judge feels “vindicated” by a report from Us Weekly saying that Lambert began dating singer Evan Felker while she “was still technically with” East.
We’re told Shelton believes this is exactly what Lambert did to him before they split in 2015. As our source put it, “She just did it again.”
When the couple broke up, Shelton felt he took the brunt of the heat in the press for the relationship falling apart. He seemingly referenced that and Lambert’s current situation in a tweet today, writing, “Been taking the high road for a long time.. I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!!”
Shelton and Lambert tied the knot on May 14, 2011 in a ceremony in Texas. They announced their divorce four years later, saying in a joint statement, “This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy heart that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
A few months after the split, Blake Shelton was linked to fellow “Voice” judge Gwen Stefani.
