Jake Paul has just announced he would be returning to the boxing ring, and it's against a massive celebrity.
The 26-year-old YouTube star recently fought Nate Diaz in August, ultimately winning the match. Now, Paul is getting ready to box once again as he claims he is the "biggest name" in the sport.
Jake Paul Announces His Boxing Return
The former YouTube influencer took to Instagram this afternoon to announce his highly-anticipated return to the ring.
"8 fights in the boxing game and I'm already its biggest name," Paul began to say in the video shared to social media, before announcing his return. "I’ve proved that I can headline the biggest global events and defy the odds. PPV after PPV after PPV, and I’m just getting started."
Paul then went on to announce when he would be stepping back inside the ring. "My mission is to be a world champion and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get there," he said before adding, "December 15th is the next step on my journey, and I promise you’re not going to want to miss it.”

There was one thing missing from the announcement Paul made, however. An opponent.
Fans were left with questions, asking the boxer, "Who??" and "Against who". Paul has yet to name his opponent.
Nate Diaz Wants To Rematch Jake Paul
Nate Diaz says he has unfinished business with Jake Paul, wanting a rematch on New Year's.
On Monday, Diaz responded to a recent Paul interview, in which Paul accused Diaz of “ducking him”. That did not sit well with Diaz as he took to social media to call Paul out. “You’re full of s--- I didn’t ask for s---", he said before suggesting they rematch in boxing on New Year’s Eve and then they can have their third fight with MMA rules.
Logan Paul's Recent Fight Against Dillon Danis
Jake Paul was in the audience last weekend to support his brother, Logan Paul, in his fight against Dillon Danis. Former YouTuber Logan Paul completely dominated Dillon Danis, despite his trash talk, in the boxing match on October 14, 2023.
To start off the fight, Paul, in pink, and Danis, in cheetah print, did not opt to touch gloves, furthering the tension between the two. In the first round, Paul won 10-9 despite the dirty boxing as Danis continued to trash talk. There was a slow start in the second round, and although there was still trash-talking, Paul took the second round as he forced Danis into the corner, ultimately winning the second round — 10-9.
The third round consisted of a lot of back and forth and taunting from Danis, but in the end, it seems that Paul took the round. At this point, Danis needed to finish Paul, but alas, that didn’t happen as Paul won the fourth round 10-9. Paul clapped back as he trolled Danis, channeling his inner Nate Diaz.
At the end of the fourth round, Danis had 9 punches — compared to Paul’s 82 punches…
In the final round, Logan Paul’s security took over the ring after Danis got knocked down. Danis then got up and lunged towards Paul, swinging at his face, which prompted security to rush in. Security, along with Jake Paul, brother of Logan, rushed to the ring to protect the WWE star.
