'Golden Bachelor' Star Theresa Nist Breaks Silence Amid Kathy Drama

Theresa Nist from "The Golden Bachelor" is breaking her silence after the latest episode of the reality show aired.

The latest episode of "The Golden Bachelor" was filled with drama -- mostly between contestants Theresa and Kathy. Following the episode, Theresa has finally taken to social media to address the episode.

Kathy and Theresa found themselves in drama on last episode of ABC's "The Golden Bachelor". It all began after Theresa was expressing how excited she was and how confident she is in her connection with "Golden Bachelor" Gerry Turner. Kathy then confided in Gerry, telling her she had a rough week, resulting in Gerry giving her a rose on the  spot.

After she got the rose, Kathy and Theresa had a conversation, but it did not end well as Kathy told the cameras that she isn't sure if Theresa is truly clueless about her oversharing or if she's being manipulative.

Now that she has had time to process the drama, Theresa took to social media to address the episode. "This past episode was a bit hard for me to watch. Never in a million years did I think that I was going to find myself involved in drama," she began to explain. "That is so not who I am. I just thought that I was able to be open and honest with a new friend about how I was feeling. As you saw, I acknowledged that everyone felt a connection to Gerry, and I welcomed that. We were all on a journey to see who was the best fit for Gerry."

Theresa continued to bring up how Gerry spoke to her on the side after she was noticeably upset. "Gerry said to me 'If you, in your heart, don't believe that you were boastful, you don't believe that you were doing anything to hurt someone, then I think you should let it go.' I never ever intended to make Kathy or anyone feel less than. As Edith said, 'It's the tension that we're dating just one man.' Of course!"

The "Golden Bachelor" star added, "I appreciate the kind messages so much. I am grateful to all of you that could see that I had only good intentions and that I felt absolutely terrible when I realized I had hurt Kathy’s feelings."

The New Jersey native then went on to thank her fans and supporters for their kind words following the drama that aired. "I appreciate the kind messages so much," she wrote before adding, "I am grateful to all of you that could see that I had only good intentions and that I felt absolutely terrible when I realized I had hurt Kathy’s feelings."

"Thank you to my friends and family that know me and know that I would never mean to make someone else feel bad in any way, and to my new friends that can already see that in me as well. Love to all!," she concluded.

"The Golden Bachelor" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
