Experience is definitely the best teacher for Christine Brown as she opens up about her feelings regarding her marriage to Kody Brown!
The reality TV star has since moved on from her 'special' marriage to the 54-year-old, but now, she has strong reservations about the arrangement. Christine was Kody's third marriage and the first sister wife to announce her separation from the "Sister Wives" patriarch in November 2021 and has since moved on with another lucky man.
Christine Brown Is Not Holding Back On Her Thoughts About Polygamy
The mother-of-six gave a closer look into how the plural marriage worked during her time in the union in a new episode of their hit show SisterWives. In a conversation with a fellow former sister wife, Janelle Brown, Christine admits polygamy is not that much of a great idea and it may be hard to navigate that terrain. In a confessional, she said:
"I think if people wanna live [plural marriage], fine. But I just, to be honest with you, I don't see it as a great family structure and I really have a hard time with it, but I think once a guy finds the love of his life, the other women are sc---."
She admitted to being frustrated and "jaded" by her experience with polygamy and said, "I'm doing my best while not having a good day, believe me, but it still was a failure."
She wished Kody addressed them all on his connection with Robyn who he now lives with and is the only wife remaining. According to Christine, her breaking point came when Kody began to pull away from her kids and stopped being a great dad.
In another part of the episode, Christine celebrated the ex-anniversary of her 1994 wedding to Kody in the company of Janelle and her other friends in Arizona. The 51-year-old described it as a great way to celebrate what was once a meaningful day and admits it was a brilliant idea to do it in the midst of like-minded people who have also experienced divorce.
"Celebrating the day of our divorce isn't enough, I also need to celebrate our old anniversary, our ex-anniversary," Christine said. While the night unfolded, Kody surprisingly put a call through to Christine, which she described as very strange.
"It's, like, Kody of all people, but I'm not answering that right now," as she stated, she could not wrap her head around why Kody reached out to her. However, Kody explained his own side of the story and his reason for calling. The 54-year-old stated that he heard Christine was in town, and he called her to check in with their daughter Truly.
According to Christine, on their anniversary last year, Kody allegedly wanted to post a picture of the estranged couple, but she was not in on the plan. But leaving a marriage is not all rosy, as she revealed:
"It's hard to show your kids when you're done. It's hard to show the world that you're done. It is hard to leave a marriage, but it sure feels good on the other side. I'm a big fan of divorce, I'm just saying. If people are thinking about it, I say go for it. ... Do it. You're already miserable. Stop pretending to [not] be miserable and pretending to be happy."
However, Kody wants Christine to stop painting him in a bad light to his children as he also claimed Christine forced her way into his life and he does not care about her exit.

Speaking of moving on, Christine officially tied the knot with her lover David Woolley last weekend and it was glorious. News of their romance filled the air in February following Christine's split from Kody in 2021 after more than 10 years together.
Christine then announced the engagement a few months later in April with a loved-up picture of the duo on her Instagram. Per The Blast, the marriage ceremony took place in front of 330 guests in an outdoor ceremony at Moab, Utah's Red Cliffs Lodge.
However, only one of her fellow "Sister Wives" made it to the ceremony, Janelle who separated from Kody a year after Christine broke the marriage. The marriage planned by Danielle Rothweiler featured a boat cruise down the Colorado River and the couple described it as their dream wedding.
Woolley described the experience as "unreal," including the view and the scenery while Christine said, "It's a fairytale. It's everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it's a dream come true."
