Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed that she most likely won't be separated from her estranged husband, Will Smith, forever. She recently shared her hopes to one day move in with him in his old age to tend to him.

This comes after her bombshell interview, where she revealed that she had been separated from the “Emancipation” star since 2016. During the interview, she also discussed how people blamed her for Will’s assault on Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscar ceremony.

In an interview with The Times, Jada shared that she will likely move back in with Will sometime in the future to take care of him in his old age.

The two have been secretly separated for seven years, a fact that the public didn't know until the actress revealed it in a bombshell interview on the "Today" show.

“I think eventually we will [live together again.] I really do. Will's getting old," said Jada, who currently lives in her own house in Calabasas, within the same vicinity as Will’s own.

She added, “I'm staying quite young, but it's getting apparent to me that he's gonna need someone to take care of him.”

All through the last seven years, Will and Jada have only been keeping up appearances at high-profile events. Even when Jada’s entanglement saga with singer August Alsina came to light, the duo still kept mute about being separated.

Typically, a divorce should have been done and dusted by now if it were for other couples. However, for Will and Jada, it didn't feel right for them to do so.

“We got to a place where we had to go our separate ways in order to break from some of those more immature fantasies of what being married was about,” “The Red Table Talk” host said on the breakdown of their marriage.

“And bear in mind, when we had that separation in 2016 the goal was to divorce, but divorce just didn't feel right for either of us. We don't know why. But here we are.”

It is still unclear what led to the breakdown of Will and Jada’s marriage, as neither of the duo have yet to speak on it explicitly.

Jada On Being Blamed For Will’s Assault On Chris Rock

Jada, who is currently not in a relationship with anyone, previously reflected on how she felt after the public blamed her in the wake of the Oscar slap incident.

The incident, which lasted a mere minutes, involved Rock and Will. Rock had cracked a joke about Jada’s bald head, prompting Will to slap him in front of the cameras.

The aftermath of the incident saw Jada take a lot of flak for Will’s actions. Jada shared that “it was ridiculous in how far it went,” especially because people had a “false narrative” that she had cheated on Will with Alsina - she claimed they were separated at the time.

"I think that when we just look at human nature... when you look at the breadcrumbs, people need something to blame," Jada said in a bombshell interview with “Today."

She added, “And so, people not knowing what was happening behind the scenes, I surely wasn't surprised that I got blamed. But I understood that that's just the human nature of it all.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Jada revealed that she was shocked that the slapping incident actually happened and had at first thought it was a skit that had been planned ahead.

“I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him.’ It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit,” Jada said, explaining her reaction at the time.

While Jada’s recent interview has provided enough drama to rival the slap incident, more is expected when her book Worthy debuts on October 17.

The book will reportedly give details into her journey through her life, spanning her early days dealing drugs to rising up to being a successful woman. It would also touch on her mysterious relationship with the late rapper Tupac Shakur and the state of her marriage to Will.
