Tori Spelling's Husband Has A Girlfriend But Still Calls The Actress 'The Love Of My Life'

Actress Tori Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott, has reportedly found a new lover amid their split. 

McDermott was recently spotted out holding hands with a mystery woman who appears to be his girlfriend.

Although it seems the "Chopped Canada" host has moved on from his estranged wife, he still brands her the "love of my life" on his social media page. 

News of Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling's split began swirling on June 17, when the actor shared a now-deleted message stating that they were going their separate ways after being married for 18 years.

The message read, "It's with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own."

He added, "We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness."

The statement on their separation was attached to a photo of the pair and their five children. But it didn't take long before McDermott took down the post for unknown reasons.

Seeing how quickly McDermott deleted the divorce post made many feel the couple was simply going through a rough patch and would try and fix things, but sources revealed to People magazine at the time that this was not the case.

"[Dean] 100 percent wants to get out of the marriage. He took down the post because Tori didn’t want him to keep it up. But he’s packing his bags and is 100 percent serious about it," the insider noted. 

They added, "He can’t take it anymore. He told her he’s done."

The estranged couple got married on May 7, 2006, and their union produced five kids: Liam Aaron, 16; Stella Doreen, 14; Hattie Margaret, 11; Finn Davey, 10, and Beau Dean, 6.

Amid their separation, McDermott has already moved on from Spelling, as he was recently sighted holding hands and being cozy with his new girlfriend.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed McDermott, in a black T-shirt and ripped jeans, walking hand in hand with a lady who has now been identified as Lily Calo, a 32-year-old senior account executive at Conscious Community Global in LA.

While it's unclear when the pair first began dating, the duo are reportedly working on a project together with the "creative development team" at the health and human services organization, per Linked In.

Despite finding a new lover, McDermott has yet to change his romantic status on his social media page, as he still brands Spelling as "the love of my life."

According to the news outlet, McDermott is now living in a rental home with four roommates in San Fernando Valley. This new living situation greatly contrasts his luxurious home in Hidden Hills, California, where he once stayed with his estranged wife, Spelling.

Spelling, for her part, is also struggling, as she has been seen living in an RV with their five kids. Prior to that, Spelling was spotted staying at a $100-a-night motel.

While Spelling seems to be adjusting to her new living situation, McDermott reportedly feels “furious” that his estranged wife and their children now stay in an RV. 

In August, an insider told the Daily Mail that McDermott is sure Spelling isn’t financially struggling and is only opting for the RV life to gain “sympathy.”

Sources close to McDermott told the news outlet that he and Spelling’s friends are also taken aback by her choices. “They do not understand why she would be doing this unless for sympathy. She has money,” the sources stated. 

They also revealed that McDermott’s “main concern” is their children. He is reportedly outraged by Spelling’s rejection of “offers from friends to stay in their homes.”

“Dean does not think that the kids should be living like this and of course he is angry. He is furious at Tori because she is acting like a child,” a source said. “She had every opportunity to make this marriage work and instead, she fostered the narrative for years that she was done with Dean.”
