Madonna's Net Worth Will Skyrocket Due To Anticipated 'Celebration Tour'

Conversations about Madonna's net worth have started ahead of her "Celebration Tour," which is poised to significantly impact her finances.

It's been estimated that the singer-songwriter and actress is expected to earn at least $100 million from the tour, thanks to 41 shows in North America and 20 in Europe. The tour has already proven its success, with 600,000 tickets sold on the first on-sale date, including 35 sold-out shows.

As of 2023, Madonna's net worth is estimated to be around a whopping $850 million. A significant portion of her wealth is attributed to her highly successful music career, with the "Ray of Light" singer having sold over 300 million records globally, making her the most successful female recording artist of all time.

Her career took off in the early '80s with hits like "Burning Up" and "Everybody," and she continued to release chart-topping songs and albums over the years. Some of her notable works include "Like a Virgin," "American Life," "Bedtime Stories," "Rebel Heart," and "Madame X."

Even though "Celebration Tour" is expected to bring her even closer to the billion-dollar club, whether it will push her into this exclusive financial category remains to be seen.

Months before her tour, Madonna made some significant decisions regarding her estate and legacy following a health scare that landed her in the hospital. The ordeal seemingly put things in perspective for the "Holiday" singer, as she became clear on how she wanted things done after her death.

Per The Blast, the first thing on her list of "don'ts" was a request against getting recreated as a hologram after her death, believing it would diminish her legacy.

"With the exception of Abba Voyage, the use of holograms to bring performers to life has been questionable, to say the least. Whitney Houston's hologram tour was panned by critics and Madonna refuses to let money-hungry bosses do the same to her," an insider spilled in July.

The source then claimed that Madonna "has spent her whole life calling the shots and maintaining cultural relevance — and there is no chance she's letting all her hard work be tarnished."

Another thing that the Maverick founder wants is to ensure her $850 million fortune isn't squandered by her family. To do this, she has chosen to equally share the rights to her songs among her six children and intends to express appreciation to her manager, Guy Oseary, who has stood by her through thick and thin.

As mentioned above, the Queen of Pop endured strenuous 12-hour days during rehearsals for her upcoming tour. According to one source, it was during this time that the renowned pop icon displayed clear indicators of underlying health concerns, yet chose to overlook them — until she became hospitalized.

In their words, "She thought they would go away. But she didn't want to take time away from rehearsals." They then explained that the 64-year-old "was run down and not feeling 100 percent for a while in anticipation of her tour."

Similarly, another insider asserted that Madonna's busy schedule had stopped her from "taking care of herself" and instead had gotten her to focus on pushing "herself beyond the limit."

Even though the specific nature of her illness remains undisclosed, there are speculations that the singer approached her recovery with utmost seriousness. According to one source, "Although Madonna is looking forward to getting back to work as soon as possible, she's also taking her recovery seriously and isn't going to rush anything because she is focused on her health above all else."

Unfortunately, the ailment meant that the Grammy Awards winner had to postpone her scheduled tour date from July 15 to October 14. On that and the other  show dates which run into April 2024, this individual, who's familiar with the situation, stated:

"In the cold light of day, considering what Madonna has just been through, and considering she is 64, was it really sensible to book so many tour dates in the first place? This schedule would be grueling for even the youngest and fittest of artists. More than 70 gigs across the world is extreme. Madonna and her team are going to have to consider cutting back on the schedule."
