On Tuesday, the “Candyman” singer took to Instagram to share a single photo that featured her lying on black sand. She is flaunting her long legs and fit physique in a plunging black corset while debuting a short blonde bob. Her eyes are closed as she tilts her chin up to the sky, giving fans a first taste of what she plans to offer during her Las Vegas Residency.
“Immerse yourself in the fusion of art and music,” she wrote in the caption. “I’m bringing an intimate, seductive, and sophisticated new show to Las Vegas. @voltairelv will allow me to be up-close-and-personal with YOU for a truly modern twist on the performance experience, TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY!”
'My body's saying ‘Let's go,’ but my wallet is saying ‘no’
“My body's saying ‘let's go,’ but my wallet is saying ‘no,’” one fan teased in a play off of her “Genie In A Bottle” lyrics. Some fans didn’t mind the price tag, with another follower writing, “Well I guess I just slipped further into debt… we’re going to Vegas girlies.” A third fan joked, “Corneas, liver, and one of my lungs are for sale on Esty to try to get a ticket.”
Other followers felt that her new look was a hint of what was to come at her Las Vegas Residency. “It’s giving Burlesque. YES,” one fan commented along with a heart-eye emoji. “1000000% agree,” another follower agreed. “Short hair is [fire emoji] on you,” another fan chimed in while another follower added, “Mother is really taking things seriously now. Time to meet new people for fresh ideas.”
Christina Aguilera Will Be Performing At The Venetian Resort’s Voltaire Venue
The “Lady Marmalade” singer is bringing a new set of shows to Las Vegas starting on December 10. The pop star will be performing at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas starting New Year’s Eve weekend, as per Billboard. Although it’s not clear what songs will be performed just yet, the outlet noted that Voltaire’s “seductively cozy” performance space was the perfect spot for the 42-year-old singer to revisit over two decades of hit songs.
The first show dates will take place on December 30 and 31. More dates will be announced on Friday, October 13, when tickets go on sale. In a statement, Voltaire founder Michael Gruber told the outlet that the venue’s goal is to create “superstar artist experiences in Las Vegas” and that the “incredibly talented” singer will help “highlight that Voltaire experience.”
Kylie Minogue Will Start Her Residency At The Venue In November
Kylie Minogue announced that she was going to be the first performer to bring a residency to the venue back in July. Her shows start on November 3, and, as per Billboard, she described the venue as “a cross between a ‘30s cabaret club and Studio 54.”
According to Voltaire’s website, travel experiences, tickets, and VIP tables available through Ticketmaster will become available for purchase on Friday, October 13.

Later that day, Christina took to Instagram to ask, “Y’all ready for something new?” while tagging Big Latto in the post. Unfortunately, the post left fans more confused than anything else.
“So it’s not a new single?!? Is it? I’m confused and excited,” one fan commented. “It's a JustEat commercial song like Katy Perry did last year,” another follower replied. Even though it might just be a commercial jingle, some fans were still ready for it. “I was born ready!” one fan wrote. “I can't wait to listen to this new song!”
