At least 40 babies and young children have reportedly been slaughtered -- some of them beheaded -- by Hamas terrorists, according to the latest stories coming out of the war-torn Middle East.
These unfortunate casualties took place at a kibbutz near the Gaza border.
New Yorker Set To Return To Israel To Join War Effort
Noy Leyb of Upper East Side of Manhattan said he could not sleep at night after he found out the news of Hamas’ surprise attack in Israel. The Israeli-Canadian watched the Hamas terrorists kidnap and kill several Israelis, which is when he decided it was time to pack his bags.
“It was disbelief, and then it was acceptance,” Leyb said, per CNN. “And then it was like, how do we get on a flight? How do I go back?”
“People told me I’m crazy for going back,” he continued. “No one asked me, ‘Are you coming back?’ I wasn't even approached by my officers because it's not normal to leave the US and come back. But it wasn't a question.”
He added, “I came back, went up north to give my grandpa and my parents a kiss, grabbed my gear, and went back to base. It’s just the beginning of a very, very long, potentially very long war.”
In his military vest, and carrying his yarmulke and Star of David, he added:
“I’m feeling, first of all, proud and happy to be here. And also nervous. I think everyone, including myself, is scared. You know, we don't want to be here. There’s just that feeling of just having to be there for our country and for our people. And it's just feeling that it's my duty, you know. I don't know how to describe it. It’s my calling and it's why I initially volunteered for the IDF instead of going to school right away. And it's my responsibility.”
Hamas Terrorists Slaughter Young Children
Hamas’ surprise attack in Israel is now the result of at least 40 casualties in babies and young children, adding to the nearly 1,100 overall.
“It’s hard to even explain exactly just the mass casualties that happened right here,” i24 News correspondent Nicole Zedek said during a broadcast from Kibbutz Kfar Aza, per The New York Post. “Babies with their heads cut off, that’s what [the soldiers] said. Gunned down. Families gunned down, completely gunned down in their beds,” Zedek said of the “sheer horror".
“This is nothing that anyone would have even imagined,” she added.
The Combat Antisemitism Movement Issues Statement
The Combat Antisemitism Movement issued the following statement following U.S. President Joe Biden’s address on Tuesday on the situation in Israel:
“We commend President Biden for his historic speech underscoring America’s unwavering support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people at this time of great peril and need. His sentiments reflected the enduring alliance and friendship between the world’s most powerful democracy and the only one in the Middle East. They made it clear to terrorists all over the world, and those who enable them, that this barbaric attack on Israel was also an attack on America. We urge other world leaders to speak out with the same fortitude and moral clarity at this critical moment."
As of Tuesday evening local time, the death count in Israel is believed to hover around 1,100, with more than 2,000 people injured.
