Bruce Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, has revealed some "happy news" after previously discussing the challenges her family has been confronting following the actor's dementia diagnosis.
Taking to social media, she revealed that one of Bruce's hit comedy-drama series is making a return to TV. The show, which originally aired for five seasons and 67 episodes from 1986 to 1989, will now be available for streaming.
Bruce Willis' Fans Receive Something To Get Excited About!
In 1986, Bruce landed his breakthrough television role alongside Cybill Shepherd in the ABC comedy-drama "Moonlighting." Although the series has been available on physical media, it has somewhat faded from public view in recent years, as it was not available on any streaming platforms until now.
In her excitement to share the update, Emma posted a throwback photo from the series featuring her man and his co-star. Bruce appeared relaxed as he looked up at Cybill with his head placed on her lap and she rested one elbow on his arm.
For their outfits, the "Die Hard" actor donned a white round-neck vest and his co-star opted for a black sequined dinner dress. Her short blond hair was styled into her signature large, loose curls and parted, with one side looking heftier than the other.
"What happy news this is. You bet our family will be watching tomorrow @hulu. David Addison and Maddie Hayes forever 🫶🏽," Emma penned in the accompanying caption.
Since she added Hulu's own words that read, "FINALLY. For the first time ever, stream Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd in Moonlighting on October 10. Exclusively on Hulu," the television presenter effectively called the attention of interested fans.
One such fan exclaimed in the comments, "I loved that show when it first aired way back in the day! Looked forward to watching it every week! Glad it'll be streaming... l'll be watching đź’› hugs to your beautiful family and continued thoughts and prayers to Bruce Willis."
"Grew up watching. Witty, funny, incredible. Can't wait," a second Instagram user commented, as a third typed, "How I loved this show , I can't wait to watch again," and a fourth chimed, "Can't believe it!! My favorite tv series when I was younger." A fifth commenter similarly gushed:
"Such a great show that was! I hope Bruce knows he brought laughter and joy to so many people!"
The upbeat tempo in the comments section is a huge leap from the somber one in May when Emma shared a disheartening update regarding a potential cure for her husband's condition, frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Bruce was officially diagnosed with FTD in February, several months after his retirement from acting due to aphasia.

The 47-year-old conveyed this information through an Instagram Story containing a video with the caption "#ftdawareness." In the footage, she disclosed that the potential cure was actually an FTD-related clinical trial. Unfortunately, she mentioned:
"They have just ended that clinical trial, which is truly a blow because there are no drugs that can treat FTD, only drugs that can treat symptoms."
In a subsequent Story, Emma revealed that even though the clinical trial was yet to prove whether it's a clinical benefit for people with FTD or ALS, it did provide valuable insights and a promising direction for future treatments.
The 'Love Is Blind: UK' Co-Host Made Fans Swoons After Posting A Semi-Nude Picture Of Bruce
The "Celebrity Big Brother" host seemingly delighted her followers when she uploaded a sizzling image of a younger —shirtless — version of her man. Leaving his chest bare, the "Pulp Fiction" performer wrapped a brown-patterned towel around his waist and covered his head with a white Pandora hat.
Thanks to his naked upper body, viewers were treated to a glimpse at his well-toned biceps, dad bod, and a medium-sized tattoo on his right arm. The throwback photo appears to have been taken at the beach, with Bruce standing on the sand next to a body of clear, blue water and numerous trees in the background.
His wife tagged "@vanityfair" and "@annielribovitz" across the image, which was posted to her Instagram Story and came nearly a month after the lovebirds celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary.
The Blast observed at the time that Emma expressed her barrage of emotions with a photo of a pink and yellow bouquet she received from her friend to honor the big day. The 47-year-old wrote in the caption that the thoughtful gift from her friend made her feel sad about Bruce's illness because he can no longer remember the special moments they shared due to his condition.
