'Sister Wives': Is All Love Lost Between Meri Brown & Kody Brown?

Like a never-ending tunnel, the drama between Kody Brown and his estranged wife, Meri Brown continues to unfold.

In the new episode of "Sister Wives," Meri shared a new development with Kody, which caused a rude awakening about how the reality star truly feels about her. The 52-year-old announced her split from Kody back in January after 32 years of marriage and a decade of working on the relationship.

The reality star's marriage to Kody Brown has hit the lowest of lows following Kody's reaction to Meri's decision on her business. The 52-year-old disclosed her plans to move her clothing business to join her thriving B&B business in Utah following her mother's passing.

Well, Kody could not be bothered by this news, as he hinted he was really done with the union in a confessional interview on the show when he said, "Meri and I don't have a marriage really…I think I see the writing on the wall. I'm literally waiting for her to catch up."

The father-of-18 even brushed off Robyn Brown's attempt at easing the tension between Kody and Meri and told her not to pressure him into making things work.

He stressed that he shares a great bond with Robyn (his only remaining wife) and is worried about losing Robyn's respect should he abandon his other estranged partners. A disappointed Meri found Kody's reaction to the news very upsetting and said:

"I was really just kind of hoping that he would care a little bit more. There wasn't anything specific that I wanted him to say or do. I just wanted him to have an air of caring and that just was not there… "

As if his cold reaction was not enough, the 54-year-old shared his vision to erect a "barn-dominium" on Coyote Pass. He plans to use the space as storage for cars and all the items from the homes of his ex-partners, Christine and Janelle Brown, and also build a loft for Meri.

Meri found his decision "insulting" and a direct contrast to Kody's "amazing, gracious and brilliant" image, as she said, "So basically, he just wants to put me out there with all the stuff, the extra stuff that he doesn't want to see, he doesn't want to deal with, He doesn't have room for — the cars, the storage, the Meri."

Kody's decision is in line with Meri's delusion about the level of damage in their marriage, as every time he tries bringing it up, he is met with resistance from the mom-of-one. The episode wrapped with Meri expressing her desire for Kody to "see some value in her" and rethink his decision to place her in a barn.

This new development is a spike in the wheels of Meri's growth following the announcement of their split back in January. Per The Blast, in July, the mother-of-one spotted a new hairdo and shared it to the admiration of her 800k followers on Instagram.

Tagging it as "New hair to go along with new life," the bob hairstyle features red and brown highlights with a curled section falling to her shoulder on the left side. The rest of the caption read:

"Spunky definition: Courageous and determined. Fiesty definition: Lively, determined and courageous. Just added a little red to match the definition. I definitely don't hate it."

She proceeded to ask her followers' thoughts on fully adopting the edgy style, and all she got was a resounding "Yes" in the comments.

Shortly after her separation announcement, rumors filled the air about Meri's true sexuality following a series of pictures of herself and her female friends on the internet. However, Meri came out to address the allegations via an Instagram live as she said:

"It's a common topic of conversation on whether or not I'm going to come out or not," she said. "I am coming out as being straight! So, there you go."

She added that the narrative will continue to fly as people do not understand the concept of platonic friendships with females or males. Despite her rebuttal, the mom of one stressed that she has nothing against other people's sexual preferences.

Per The Blast, Meri tied the knot to Kody in 1990, becoming his first up until Kody decided to end their marriage last December. While the 52-year-old is still open to sorting out their issues, Kody appeared to have moved on since the news broke out.
