Kanye West is believed to be once again showing his true anti-Semitic colors.
The famed rapper is reportedly secretly trying to trademark the phrase "YEWS," which he plans to use on everything Ye-related.
The Hip-hop icon became embroiled in new controversies following fans' suspicions that his alleged business move might be another Jewish-inspired attack.
Their concerns stemmed from the "Gold Digger" hitmaker's 2022 antisemitic statements that ended several of his renowned brand partnerships.
Kanye' Ye' West's Perceived Anti-Semitic Trademark Sparks Social Media Outrage
The internet bared its claws against the Yeezy founder after a company moved to trademark "YEWS." The court document revealed that Ox Paha Inc. filed for the sole rights to the phrase earlier this month.
Although the 10-time BET Award recipient has never been publicly linked to this LLC, he might have secret ties to the establishment. The company listed its address as West's office on Melrose Ave, implying a connection to the "Flashing Lights" artist, per TMZ.
If the 46-year-old filed to trademark "YEWS," the phrase will appear on everything related to the rapper. According to the documents, this includes financial services, real estate, clothing (footwear, headwear, jeans, etc.), music and audio, entertainment content, beauty products, restaurants, and more.
Although the GOOD Music founder has not been linked to the word "YEWS," fans suspect it is another antisemitic remark given West's history. Many aired their speculations on social media platforms like X, calling out the "Praise God" singer for disrespecting the Jewish community.
"This man is a menace to society," an upset fan declared, while another hoped the rumors were false. "I hope he's referencing news and not……" A third echoed similar thoughts, writing:
"I really, really like genuinely read this as Kanye's cool way of calling News 'Yews' like, oh, he's gonna make a channel for all Kanye related News ok… then it hit me like a 100-ton truck full of explosives."
"PRAYING this means he's starting his own news company called Ye News/Yews and not what he's calling the Jewish people he likes," a hopeful fan penned. Meanwhile, one conspiracy theorist broke down the meaning of Yews, describing it as a "poisonous plant" grown in European churches' yards.
"It's the perfect toxin to assassinate people. This plant is responsible for untold murders resulting in radical shifts in our ancestors' lives," the individual claimed, adding, "I wonder how this fits."
"Black Israelites gonna start referring to themselves as Yews," another X user speculated. "Why do I have the feeling that YEWS will be bad NEWS for the JEWS?" Someone wondered while a Ye supporter teased the possibility of an album.
"This could be Ye News instead of Jews, or he's gonna name his album YEWS, which would be f------ HILARIOUS," the fan declared. A fellow West admirer noted the rapper successfully escaped last year's backlash, commenting: "Yews? Yea, he beat the Jew cancel allegations."
All About The Donda Academy Founder's Antisemitic Statements & Concerning Behavior
The "No Church in the Wild" singer's hate speech against the Jews started with his Paris Fashion Week show in October 2022. The 46-year-old donned a shirt illustrated with the words "White Lives Matter" and showcased Black models in similar designs.
The phrase raised eyebrows as neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups used it in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. When fans called out the rapper for his disturbing actions, West fired back on social media platforms like X and Instagram by using antisemitic terms in his posts.
One of the Grammy honoree's tweets read: "I'm a bit sleepy tonight, but when I wake up, I'm going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE." The father of four continued, "The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jews also; you guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda."
Additionally, the Hip-hop star declared his love for Adolf Hitler and denied the Holocaust, leading to severe consequences. The "Good Life" artist's social media accounts were suspended for violating community guidelines while famous fashion brands cut ties with the rapper's Yeezy line.
Gap, Balenciaga, Adidas, and Foot Locker scrapped the media personality's products from their shelves and ended their collaboration. Ye's wax figure was removed from Madame Tussauds London, MRC canceled his documentary, and his music career took a significant hit with deceased radio plays and his playlist pulled from Apple Music.
According to Forbes, the 17-time Billboard Music Award winner lost his billionaire status following his terminated deal with Adidas. The entertainer's net worth reportedly dropped to $400 million. The record producer's antisemitic views were also condemned by public figures, including President Joe Biden, Pusha T, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and her sister Khloé.
