For the second week, Taylor Swift took over the internet as she appeared alongside some famous friends at MetLife Stadium to cheer on her rumored boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Swift, who was later joined by Travis Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, for the second week in a row, has been attacked by social media users, who have claimed the "Bad Blood" singer has been using Kelce as a PR stunt. Now, it seems the attacks are also aimed towards the Kelce family.

Donna Kelce, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, sat down for an interview with host Jennifer Vickery Smith on the podcast "Got It From My Momma" where she opened up about the Taylor Swift drama.

“I feel like I'm in an alternate universe. It’s something I never thought I’d be involved with," Donna said before she briefly mentioned that "haters" are attacking her family.

The NFL recently spoke out, defending the coverage of Swift and Kelce, calling it a “pop culture moment”.

“We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally,” the NFL said in a statement to People. “The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”

The league then compared it to their “Toy Story”-themed coverage on Sunday morning. “The vast majority of our content has remained focused on the game, our players and variety of other initiatives, including our Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast, the international games and more,” they said.

Throughout the game coverage of "Sunday. Night Football", where the Kansas City Chiefs took on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, NBC showed the “Bad Blood” singer in the suite several times, with mixed reactions from NFL fans and Swifties. Some are even questioning if the whole Traylor drama lately is just one big publicity stunt — and after the “Eras Tour” promotion during the commercial break last night, fans are now convinced.

Not only did NBC show Taylor Swift on several different occasions, seemingly ignoring the fact that Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter, Paul Rudd, and Hugh Jackman were all in attendance as well, but during the commercial break, fans watched a promo for Swift’s “Eras Tour” movie.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been turned into a concert film. It will be released to select movie theaters worldwide beginning in October 2023, which the “Love Story” singer coincidentally announced the day after she first appeared at the Kansas City Chiefs game last week.

The film, which will be a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes, is directed by Sam Wrench and will give fans the chance to see Taylor Swift up close during the show as if you were actually on stage with her — and Swift’s PR team decided to utilize the “Sunday Night Football” publicity to promote it.
