Rachel Bilson Makes 'Judgmental' Claim About Men In Their 40s Who Have 'Only Slept With Four Women'

In a recent episode of her podcast, Rachel Bilson revealed that having less than four partners at the age of 40 is a turn-off for her in a prospective partner.
The actress shared that she would find it weird, although she did make an excuse for those who have been in long-term relationships.
In the past, Bilson has also opened up about never having an orgasm from sex until she was 38 and how she has never faked one with her partners.
'This Is Gonna Sound Judgemental'
Bilson shared that having a very low body count as a man at the age of 40 is "weird."
During Monday's episode of her podcast "Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson," the actress made the claim as she outlined what would put her off a prospective partner.
"This is gonna sound so judgmental, but if a dude is in his 40s and he [has] only slept with four women…," Bison said to her co-host Olivia Allen before revealing she would find it "a little weird."
Although having a low body count would rub her off the wrong way, Bilson went on to explain that there are certain situations where she would be understanding.
"Maybe he's been in decade [long] relationships, totally respectable," she shared. "But if he's single in his 40s, and it's only four and he's never been in the long term, [then] that's an issue."
Rachel Bilson Claims That She Has Never Faked An Orgasm
Bilson is known for being very open about her sexual life, especially on her podcast. In the past, her revelations, which could sometimes be racy, had cost her a gig from a "conservative" brand.
One of such instances occurred earlier in the year. At the time, the "Jumper" star revealed that she has never faked an orgasm with her partners, regardless of how she feels about them.
"Am I an a--?" the actress said at the time, asking her podcast listeners whether it was wrong.
"I start to go into that people-pleasing thing. Like, am I just a d--- because I never gave [my partners] that?"
Despite knowing that it might hurt their egos, Bilson doubled down on why she chose not to fake an orgasm with her partners.
She added, "It goes against my whole nature of being a people pleaser and putting the dude first."
Rachel Bilson Says Her First Orgasm From Sex Was In Her Late 30s
Although it appears that Bilson has enjoyed a fulfilling sex life throughout her life, the actress also disclosed that this has not always been the case.
She shared that her first orgasm did not happen from sex but from being touched by her partner. "It took a very long time; it finally happened, and then the floodgates opened. It was easier," the "Nashville" star recalled the moment, which happened in her 20s.
Actual orgasm from sex occurred when she was 38, implying that Bilson's intercourse with her partners never resulted in the big "O." On why it took that long, the "The O.C." star explained that she had to learn how her body worked.
"Mostly, it was about me and my body and being comfortable and figuring out position and whatnot," she said. "It was so interesting because now I can with different partners. It's learning your body."
Is Rachel Bilson In A Relationship?
With regard to her romantic status, Bilson revealed in the middle of last year that she was not single, although she did not disclose the identity of the individual.
However, many have speculated that her beau is musician Zac La Roc after they were spotted packing on the PDA during a beach outing in May 2022.
In the past, she has dated Adam Brody, whom she starred alongside in "The O.C.," Bill Hader, and her "Jumper" co-star Hayden Christensen.
With Christensen, she welcomed a daughter, Briar Rose, 8. After their breakup, the duo continued co-parenting, with Bilson telling People magazine in June 2018 that the arrangement has been "tricky."
She said, "Most important for me is that Briar is OK, and secure and stable. No matter what I'm dealing with or how much it hurts or how much anger there is, it's just about her."
