Kris Jenner Reportedly Got Third-Party Knowledge Of Caitlyn Jenner's Transitioning

The upcoming "House of Kardashian" project seems filled with many revelations, including the unconventional dynamics of the pair's 23-year marriage.

Apparently, the former Olympian is seeking reconciliation with the "momager" after a startling disclosure — she learned of Caitlyn's gender transition not from the 73-year-old but from E! network executives.

According to an insider, Kris was the "one true love of Bruce's life," which is why Caitlyn, who embraced her true identity in April 2015, regrets how she reportedly learned about the change.

The source revealed to Page Six that "Caitlyn will always have love for Kris, and even after the divorce — which had nothing to do at all with transitioning — really has come to regret not talking with Kris personally first. It hurt [Caitlyn] to learn that Kris found out from network execs."

The person also admitted, "Kris first found out about Bruce transitioning from E! execs, although Bruce eventually spoke to Kris." It was announced that after their 2013 split, the parents of Kendall and Kylie found themselves at odds over "The Kardashians" star's alleged knowledge of the media personality's gender struggles.

It was also explained that "Caitlyn not only partook in the documentary to defend her family, but to set the record straight that Kris really had no idea — other than what [Kris] discussed in Vanity Fair."

In that particular interview, which took place in the magazine's July 2015 edition, the 67-year-old revealed that she knew about the former professional athlete's experience with temporary hormone use in the 1980s, even before they got together.

Recounting how they met, she stated, "When I met Bruce, he told me that he had done hormones back in the early '80s. This was a conversation that took place in the early '90s. So, what he was telling me happened a decade earlier, and he never really explained it."

Hurt over being blindsided, the mother-of-six rhetorically asked, "Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy?…Why would you not explain this all to me?"

For those who do not know, the former college football player is appearing in the upcoming tell-all documentary about the famous Kardashian family, whom she was once a part of years before transitioning.

In a conversation with hosts Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson, the TV personality shared that her profound affection for her children, driven by her role as a dedicated parent, was the sincere motivation for her participation in the project. She emphasized: "I wanted to protect my family. I'm a parent, I love my children… and you know the Kardashian side and a little bit of the Jenner side."

Caitlyn pointed out that she wanted to address potential misconceptions that might have arisen from media portrayal. By participating in the project, she aimed to set the record straight about two essential points: "First of all how much I love my kids, and second of all how proud I am of them and what they've been able to accomplish."

She also revealed that her communication with Kris has notably diminished, which was disheartening. The former "America Alive!" co-host also mentioned that interactions with the "Celebrity Family Feud" guest star were facilitated through her manager.

Caitlyn acknowledged that having many children meant she was "closer to some than you are to others…" She shared further, "I certainly see them, and we do this and that. I'm much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don't really have any more contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot."
