Bethenny Frankel Praises Fiancé's 'Unbelievable' Gift Giving Skill For 5th Anniversary

Bethenny Frankel is flying on the wings of love!

The reality star and her man, Paul Bernon, marked their fifth anniversary together with thoughtful and sentimental gifts that expressed how special they are to each other. Frankel showed off the gorgeous fashion accessory she received from Bernon while praising him for being "a very good" gifter.

Since they connected through a social platform in 2018, Frankel and Bernon have suffered their fair share of challenges. In fact, the lovebirds were on-again-off-again for the better part of their first three years together, with their most recent alleged breakup being in October 2020.

The pair reportedly reunited in January 2021 before the businessman popped the question in March of the same year. They have not let go of each other since then, making it understandable for the "Real Housewives of New York" alum to post a video gushing over the anniversary gift she got from her fiancé. Clarifying that their five-year anniversary was "a couple of weeks ago," the 52-year-old said:

"He has always been a very good gift giver. And his game has always been unbelievable. When we went out the first night, the next day I had such butterflies. I was thinking, 'oh my god, could this be the one?' And I was getting myself worked up. And he sent the most beautiful flowers."

"He just takes a lot of thought. He cares, I love him. He's so wonderful [and] he's very thoughtful with his gifts," she stated, as she began unwrapping the black box in her hands. Frankel continued, "So, this was our anniversary gift and it's really special, it's Judith Leiber. It's thoughtful, it has meaning."

The mother of one then explained that Leiber "specializes in these bags, they're called minaudieres, like miniature bags. It's completely whimsical." Next, she shed light on the thought behind the gift, recalling that she spent her entire childhood at the roller rink and has always been a skater girl.

The "Skinnydipping: A Novel" author noted further, "you can hold your thoughts and dreams and a lipgloss in here. And some money and a tic tac. Maybe a pack of tic tacs. It can hold some tic tacs, life-saver mints, your hopes, your dreams, your thoughts, your wishes."

She wrapped up by fawning over the real-life stoppers attached to the silver and pink bag, which took the shape of rollerblades. Her fans quickly joined her in praising Bernon's gift of choice, and one of them wrote:

"Happy Anniversary to you and Paul. What a wonderful gift. You can tell he really adores you, Bethenny and my gut tells me he will always have your back. So happy God brought him into your life."

Another Instagram user effused, "I love your thoughtful gift!," as a third person expressed, "So cute. Really thoughtful of Paul. Great job," and a fourth similarly claimed, "So cute. Very thoughtful of him."

Seeing the deep bond Frankel shares with her man, makes one wonder why they haven't said their "I Don" since getting engaged two years ago. As The Blast learned recently, the podcast host appeared to be walking in the footsteps of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as she has no immediate plans to marry Bernon.

The star revealed that they still haven't solidified wedding plans, and the idea of an official marriage might not be in their future. Sharing her perspective on weddings during an exclusive interview with E! News Chief Correspondent Keltie Knight, she emphasized that she prefers to do what feels right for them rather than conforming to societal expectations.

While we wait to see if she'll change her views eventually, it is worth noting that the "Beat Bobby Flay" guest judge announced her proposal on Instagram with multiple pictures of the special night and her stunning diamond ring with an emerald-cut stone flanked by two smaller ones.

In the caption, Frankel recounted that Bernon's primary goal on their special day was to witness the stunning sunset in the Florida Keys. The father of two arranged for a secluded beachfront table, creating a private and romantic atmosphere for the couple.

Although the "Cookie Meets Peanut" author chose to keep some of the more intimate details of the proposal private, she confirmed that the secrecy didn't diminish the beauty of the moment. She described it as "a beautiful proposal, in a beautiful setting, with a beautiful ring, to a beautiful man," celebrating the significance of the occasion in their relationship.
