The pair also discussed the "Ah Thousand Jugs" hitmaker's thoughts on embattled former president Trump and his potential White House run in 2024, with Von asking, "Do you think more people are going to support Trump now in the hood?"

"I like Trump, yeah, they support him in the hood. At first, I don't think people was f—— with him like they thought he was racist, saying little s—, and you know, against women," she began before adding, "But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people their free money. A fourth responder penned, "Y'all are going to continue supporting sexxy red despite the trump comments even tho the Republicans are attempting to delete rights, even tho that man is responsible for thousands of covid death, even tho he helped reinvigorate white supremacy."

A fifth commenter added that even though Republicans are "attempting to disenfranchise Black Voters, banning Black People's poems (Amanda Gorman) while trying to sell an upside to Slavery," Red "(who has a huge fan base) thinks we should put Trump back in office? Girl, they about to drag you."

A sixth cybernaut observed that Trump would "be voted back in" because all people see is "free money and freeing kneegrows who can't stay out of jail," concluding, "When his goons start a race war they will be paying sexxy red on the loud speaker to get yall to come outside."

THIS Snapshot Of The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards Nominee Got Her Fans Talking

The last time Red made it to the headlines was for her budding romance (or lack thereof) with Drake. Fans had been intrigued by the pair's relationship after the Canadian-born superstar shared photos of them cozying up backstage after he made a stop in Brooklyn, New York, as part of his "It's All a Blur" tour.

In one of the images uploaded to his Instagram Story, the 36-year-old sits with the "Pound Town" rapper, placing his arm around her as he kisses her cheek. At the same time, Red had her hand on the side of his head, with her eyes closed and a pouty expression on her face.

"Just met my rightful wife," the "Take Care" collaborator typed across the image, showing him wearing a black baggy sweatshirt, matching leather pants, and diamond stud earrings. For her part, Red paired her signature red hair with a white cropped leather jacket, matching ripped jeans, black-rimmed glasses, and a customized diamond-encrusted necklace.

Reposting the same photo, alongside a second snap of herself and Drake seated backstage again with their heads pressed together as the latter stuck his tongue out, to her own Instagram, the St. Louis native dubbed herself "yo favorite rapper favorite rapper."
