Tamar Braxton is speaking out about her breakup with Jeremy Robinson.

The former pair met on the Peacock's reality dating show "Queens Court" and got engaged on the show's finale in March. While the actress did not go into detail about the reasons for the breakup, she shared how excited she was for her upcoming tour.

On Instagram, the reality TV star posted a video for her fans on Monday. In the clip, she revealed that she had been actively prioritizing her mental health and doing the necessary work.

She said, "I've done a lot to work on my mental health and change who I used to be into who I am now. And I can't help if people fall into that perception because it's easy. And I get it." The 46-year-old emphasized her determination not to be defined by her past or the challenges she has overcome. 

While talking about how far she has come mentally, the TV personality alluded to her recent split with Robinson, expressing her hurt and surprise. Accepting the hand she had been dealt, she stated emphatically, "I, today, am mentally healthy, and I'm happy. I'm hurt, but such is life. I'm surprised, but okay."

Not one to back down in defeat, Braxton showed her determination to move on to other things like her tour by adding, "But I just want everybody to know that the devil is a dirty liar and I've worked my entire behind off, I've funded this entire tour. Live Nation gave me the opportunity." 

"The Real" alum wrapped up the video by asserting that she would not be swayed or distracted by negative comments or attempts to undermine her "because I live by the word." Instead, the mother-of-one mentioned that she is focused on being obedient to her beliefs and is looking forward to an incredible tour, aiming to bring joy to her fans.

The video, which was uploaded on The Shade Room, amassed supportive comments for the second season "Celebrity Big Brother" winner, including a hilarious note from a fan who pointed out that "Tamar changed for the better cause whewww the old Tamar would've ate him up 😂." 

Someone else expressed their initial distrust for Robinson because "He got all those bms and his haircut is untrustworthy." Meanwhile, others went the positive route, like these admirers who encouraged Braxton, stating, "You're healed and that's all that matters! We love you ♥️," and "Good for her. Go have fun on tour, doing what you love. ♥️."

While it seems that the singer is just sharing her thoughts now, a previous post of hers might have suggested things were not going smoothly. On September 30, she took to X to share a cryptic message that read, "When people are calculated and mean, the Lord will surely deal with you 🤷🏽‍♀️." 

Looking at the timeline, it was right after that her ex-partner opened up about their ended engagement with a lengthy statement on his Instagram story. First, The attorney acknowledged their split:

"So many questions, so many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect. Yes. Tamar and I are no longer together." He explained that he ended "the relationship to focus on returning to positive energy and being a better person."

He clarified that infidelity was not a factor in their separation and denied being present when Braxton's mother's car was burglarized. The "Queen's Court" star emphasized that he was not with the "DWTS" former contestant for fame.

After noting his regret that falling in love did not turn out how he expected, the TV personality stated they would "always be friends and family for life."

The "Being Mary Jane" guest star revealed her tour stops in New York City, Atlanta, Detroit, and Silver Spring through an update on her official Instagram account.

The tour's presale, accessible with the code "studio," is now underway, with general tickets on sale on September 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time. While ticket prices are yet to be disclosed, they will be available for purchase through Live Nation.
