Jamie Lee Curtis is sharing her thoughts on Pamela Anderson's recent look at the Paris Fashion Week.
The "Halloween" franchise star celebrated the model's barefaced mega-moment on social media, lauding the 56-year-old with praises for courageously defying the industry's beauty standards. Although Curtis was proud of her fellow actress, her followers were not impressed!
Fans Bash Jamie Lee Curtis's Support Of Pamela Anderson's Natural Beauty MomentĀ
The "Everything Everywhere All At Once" actress started the new month of October with a sweet post dedicated to Anderson. The 64-year-old shared two snaps of the blond beauty's makeup-free appearance at the Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2024 womenswear fashion collection presentation.
The September 28 event was part of the Paris Fashion Week circuit, with several celebrities stepping out in their most glamorous attires. However, Anderson shocked the star-studded guests by embracing her natural freckles and aging lines, making 56 look like the best thing in town.
In the snaps shared by Curtis, the blonde beauty rocked her shoulder-length tresses in gentle waves that cascaded down her back. She flaunted her toned body in a stunning yellow midi dress with the textured sleeveless number hugging her curves in all the right places. As stated, Anderson did not wear any hint of makeup, showing off her fantastic glowing skin.
Despite not being dolled up like most attendees, the "Baywatch" star stole the spotlight, and her barefaced appearance earned her high praises from Curtis. The Oscar winner's heartwarming tribute read:
"THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! @pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week, with so many pressures and postures, and, and, and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion."
Unfortunately, Curtis's love for Anderson's makeup-free look was not shared by the "Freaky Friday" star's fans. Many called out the mother of two for overselling the "Baywatch" star's barefaced moment as they believed it was not unique.

"Hate that this is an 'act of courage and rebellion' ridiculous," an impassive follower penned. A fellow unimpressed social media user fired at Curtis's praise of Anderson's natural beauty, writing: "She's had a ton of surgery. What are you talking about?"
"How about a revolution against facelifts, fillers, and Botox and procedures that completely change your appearance? That would be a revolution. Giving up makeup doesn't compare," a third quipped. More people bashed Curtis's caption, with a fourth claiming the world had become sad.
"Sad that we live in a world of rebounding fascism and climate catastrophe, and a celebrity not wearing makeup is considered courageous," the individual lamented. "Hollywood narcissism at its finest," someone cried. "Patting yourselves on the backs for not wearing makeup and then calling yourselves brave. Talk about privilege."
"Millions of women go to public events every day not wearing makeup and are not called brave. Good for Pamela for doing what millions of women have been doing every day for ages," a fan sarcastically chimed.
"Really?? Courage and rebellion?? You people are out of touch with what the real world faces. This is the dumbest take ever. She didn't wear makeup. Yawn," another disappointed follower commented.
Her Late Makeup Artist inspired Pamela Anderson's Barefaced Look
Two months before stepping out at the 2023 Paris Fashion Week event, Anderson caused a stir on social media by flaunting her natural beauty. In August, the former "Playboy" magazine model shared a makeup-free selfie on Instagram.
The snap captured the "Home Improvement" star's adorable freckles and glowing skin as she posed with a seashell over one eye. "It's never too lateā¦ to bloom," the blonde beauty captioned the sweet image. The post received positive responses from fans, many of whom praised the actress for being an inspiration.
However, her late makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, inspired the "Dancing with the Stars" alum's choice to stop wearing makeup. The stylist passed away in 2019 following a battle with breast cancer.
Reflecting on how Vogel's death affected her, Anderson said: "I just felt, without Alexis, it's just better for me not to wear makeup." According to the TV personality, ditching the beauty enhancers was a great decision, and she described the journey as "freeing, fun, and a little rebellious."
