Lil Tay Fans Concerned After Noticing Bruises On Her Legs Amid Career Comeback

Fans are still concerned for Lil Tay amid her career comeback.

The rising Internet celebrity known for her controversial videos, foul language, and flashing stacks of cash went silent in 2018 amid a bitter custody battle between her parents Angela Tian and Christopher Hope.

However, now that her mother has regained custody of her daughter, Lil Tay is back on the scene with a brand new music video called “Sucker 4 Green.” Even still, fans are concerned about the social media sensation, noticing bruises on her legs in an Instagram Live explaining her absence.

The social media sensation dropped a clip of her new music video “Sucker 4 Green” on Saturday afternoon and went live shortly after where she performed covers of various songs, including one by Metallica. She was wearing a short pink dress that showed off her legs, where fans swore they could see bruises on her knees and upper thighs.

“Such an iconic way of taking back your life and career stay strong, Tay. I wonder if anyone noticed the bruises,” one fan commented. “I did,” another follower wrote. “Look at her legs. She said it later in the live as well,” a third fan chimed in. “How did she get them?” another follower asked.

“Her father when he had custody,” another fan speculated. “Those bruises aren’t from when he had custody. They would be gone by now. It’s probably from her guitar or something… kids get bruises all the time,” another follower pointed out. “Tbf she's a teen, might have just done some dumb stuff and hurt herself, I hope it's not the abuse still,” another fan agreed.

During her livestream, Lil Tay doubled down on abuse allegations against her father, Christopher Hope. She claims that after she started getting famous for her controversial videos, her father, Christopher Hope, got custody of her. During that period of time, she alleges that she was physically and mentally abused by her father and his wife.

She doubled down on claims that her father was responsible for a death hoax published on her Instagram account in August, claiming that both she and her brother had passed away. She also says that her father was in cahoots with a person claiming to be her ex-manager in order to pull off the death hoax as part of some kind of cryptocurrency scheme that didn’t pay off.

Lil Tay had nothing but positive things to say about her mother, who has regained custody of her daughter. The rising star called her mom her biggest supporter and revealed that she is in full support of Tay getting into show business as she attempts to make a career comeback. Despite her lengthy absence, she still has 4.9 million followers on Instagram.

In April 2021, Lil Tay’s brother, Jason Tian, launched a GoFundMe that raised over $17,000 from over one thousand donations. In the plea, he claims that Lil Tay’s father was abusive towards his sister and was asking for donations in order to help secure her freedom.

“My sister Tay has been silent on social media for the past 3 years because her absentee father (Chris Hope) served my mother a court order demanding control over Tay’s money, career, and custody, and as a result, it was court ordered that my sister had to return to Vancouver, Canada,” Jason wrote in the petition.

“He also requested through a court order to prevent her from speaking out about the truth. Since then he has stolen millions of dollars from my sister and has taken control of all her funds,” he continued. “He has signed million-dollar deals and taken all of Tay’s money for himself.”

Jason claimed that Christoper Hope spent millions living a lavish lifestyle with his new wife “for the past 3 years off Tay’s money.” In the GoFundMe, Jason shared photos of alleged bruises, screenshots of conversations, and even photos of run-down shoes that Jason claims her father “forced” her to wear.

One disturbing allegation reads: “Chris Hope and his woman threatened Tay and told her if she told any of the teachers at school or my mother, they would punish her and lock her in the closet and force her to watch other horror movies while she was in the closet. They said if anybody asked about her injuries, she needed to tell them she fell down on the playground.”

Fortunately, her mother has since gained custody over Lil Tay and it looks like the teen is well on her way to making a career comeback.
