Fitness Trainer Senada Greca Shares ‘A Formula’ For ‘FASTER’ Weight Loss
In one of her latest Instagram posts, Senada shared videos of her eating, working out, and posing in her very own Zentoa swimwear and activewear apparel line. Senada shares a lot of food that she eats with her Instagram followers, reminding them that they don’t need to try an intense diet to lose weight.
“I had to do this video, as this is A formula, it’s NOT the only formula, but for simplicity purposes, follow this formula and you WILL get results,” she wrote in the caption, breaking it down into five different options for her followers to choose from:
- Eat less = lose weight (lose both muscle and fat)
- 2. Eat less + move more (but not strength train) = lose weight FASTER
- 3. Eat at maintenance (the same as you do) + move more (but not strength train) = lose weight
- 4. Eat at maintenance + strength train = build muscle and lose body fat
- 5. Eat at maintenance + strength train + move more = build muscle and lose body fat faster
“I can go on with little tweaks here and there, but you catch the drift,” she added. Pick your formula and stick to it!”
How Do Senada's Followers Feel About Her Simple Formulas?

As to be expected, fans had a lot of strong reactions to Senada’s videos. “Weight loss and health is NOT about eating less; this is not sustainable or healthy. The whole calories in vs. calories out thing is such an inaccurate oversimplification of how the body actually works,” one user commented.
“I think less is subjective and doesn’t necessarily mean to starve yourself. I run long distances and hike, but I am not lean or cut, just thick and solid because I won’t….EAT LESS tacos and biscuits.,” another fan replied. “Calories in calories out literally is how weight gain and weight loss work though... you don't gain weight without eating in a surplus and you don't lose weight without eating in a deficit for the vast majority of people,” another follower chimed in.
“She means you have to be in a calorie deficit to achieve your weight goal, this is a scientific fact and she is not saying starve yourself. For example, my calorie deficit to reach my goal weight is still 1900 calories a day, that’s a ton of food. Maybe you didn’t like how she worded it?” another fan suggested.
“She isn’t saying that actually. She’s including that if you eat plenty of protein and TRAIN you will lose weight and build muscle …. Then she says “'Pick your formula’. Important part you may have missed,” another follower wrote. “Essentially saying to pick what works for YOU. READ THE WHOLE POST. And keep an open mind so you can hear what @senada.greca is saying.”
One person asked, “How do you figure out maintenance?” Although Senada did not reply, another user did. “Find out your BMR (calories your body consumes to survive) then add what you burn from exercising (if you do) or just your daily calories from doing stuff. Example: mine total is like 2400 calories a day,” they explained. “So, if you eat below your daily calorie you’re in deficit. If you eat the amount of calories you burn, that’s your maintenance. I hope that helps.”
For fans seriously looking to lose weight, it is best to speak with a doctor or other healthcare professional, such as a licensed nutritionist, in order to determine your BMR and develop an individualized diet and exercise plan suitable for your needs. The main goal of Senada's posts is to inspire her fans to start thinking more critically about fitness... and it appears she has definitely succeeded in that regard!
