Kendall Jenner Calls Truce With Mom's BF Corey Gamble After 3 Years Of Feud

After a tumultuous three-year feud, Kendall Jenner has decided to bury the hatchet with Kris Jenner's long-time partner, Corey Gamble.

The reconciliation might shock fans who have closely followed the ups and downs of their relationship. But what prompted this unexpected truce, and what does it mean for the dynamic within the Jenner-Kardashian clan?

In the premiere episode of "The Kardashians" Season 4, the supermodel joined her sisters — except Kourtney — in Cabo for a family getaway. The family's matriarch and her much younger beau were also on the trip.

The new episode saw the "America's Next Top Model Cycle 18" guest star candidly delving into her tumultuous relationship with her mother's partner of almost a decade. Marking a notable step towards reconciliation, the reality TV star shared on the show's confessional that they had finally put their differences behind them since the incident.

The TV personality recounted how it all started, "Corey and I, we were close for a while, and then Kylie and I had a big sister fight and he tried to intervene, and that caused a little problem between us." 

The 27-year-old noted that although she and Gamble talked things out and moved past it, there was still a lingering sense of tension or unease between them.

The "Ocean's 8" guest star then credited their family trip to Cabo for providing a valuable chance for her and the 42-year-old to strengthen their bond. She believed "sometimes that's what makes these family trips really important. It gives Corey and I the opportunity to slow down and actually spend some together."

The development seemed to have taken Kris and Kim by surprise as they chatted about it. The matriarch said, "I think hell froze over because Corey and Kendall are chatting," to which the SKIMS founder responded, "They haven't talked since Palm Springs."

In case you missed it, three years ago, the model and her sister Kylie found themselves in a heated physical altercation while heading back from Palm Springs. This happened because the makeup mogul refused to drop Kendall off at her apartment, leading to a tense standoff that caused them to give each other some space for an extended period.

An episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" at the time offered insight into why things got to a boiling point. Apparently, Kendall had expressed a desire to return to her apartment, but Kylie had reportedly stated angrily, "Kendall! Shut up! No one promised to take you home! Why would I drive you over the hill?!"

Tempers flared between the sisters to the point of hitting each other, and Gamble stepped in, attempting to mediate and end the altercation. Frustrated by the situation, their older sibling Kim even contacted her security team to assist Kendall.

In response, the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2016" star fired back at the "Skims" owner, asserting that her actions were provoked because the "Kylie Cosmetics" founder had struck her first. This prompted the mother-of-two to retort, "That's because you f****** slapped me!"

The famous family's Cabo vacation seemed to be a wellspring of amazing tidbits about them because apart from a reconciliation happening, the 67-year-old let slip about her beau's ill-fated attempt to land a role in "Yellowstone."

Even though he is not a seasoned actor, Gamble has made a few appearances on "2 Minutes of Fame" in 2020 and on the family's reality TV show. A giddy Jenner mistakenly shared the secret while expressing excitement about the new episode of the popular series. 

Without missing a beat, Gamble playfully jabbed at the momager, quipping, "If it wasn't for you, i'd be a Yellowstone star." Now, this was too intriguing for Kim and Khloe to ignore as they sought clarification from Jenner, who candidly admitted her hand in his decision, confessing:

"I thought he was going to have to have a romantic relationship." 

Unfortunately for her, the "Good American" founder called her out for what she saw as hypocrisy. Khloe questioned whether the "RuPaul's Drag U" guest judge would accept a role on "Yellowstone" if it meant sharing a kiss with lead star Kevin Costner.

The "DWTS" guest star nodded in agreement, leaving Gamble visibly stunned. However, he recovered fast enough to cheekily state, "Now I know my next role," prompting Kim to chime in with a playful, "Now you know your next role-play."
